The Wolfbox dashcams seem to be getting more and more innovative. When I saw the bumper cam, I knew it was time to upgrade my camera. The new video processing chip is a very nice upgrade. I do see an improvement in the night vision clarity. This is where all dashcams struggle as it's the most difficult condition to get good recordings in. Installation was a bit more difficult than the mirror mount, but not much more complex than the cameras that go on the license plate mount. Both have to go from the inside of the car to the outside and finding where the factory wires punch through can be a pain...but totally worth the effort. I don't like drilling new holes in my car and keeping things as close to factory as possible. If you were OK to drill an additional hole through the firewall, this might make the installation easier. The playback on my phone works great. No lagging at all on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. And being able to give it voice commands is a very nice safety feature so you're not having to hit a button to take the picture (which takes your attention from the road). All in all, I think this is the fourth WolfBox camera I've purchased for myself or members of my household and they have all been great. I may choose to upgrade some of the others to this model also as I think the bumper cam is a really great feature. It's important to make sure that when you're running your wire through the engine compartment, that you use many zipties as needed to make sure there's no possibility of a loose wire. A loose wire getting tangled in a fan or rubbing against a hot component, which could result in wire failure. If you can run the wire through some of the factory wire protection material, this is a good idea to do whenever possible. It's not necessary, but it keeps the wires organized and protected. Plus, you might be able to use some of the factory wire shields to hide some of the excess wire after your bumper cam installation is complete. Even if wire shields are not available, I ran the camera wire next to other wires. Doing so helps to make sure that you're placing the wire in a good place. I saw someone else complaining about the customer service. I'm not sure what happened for that person, but I've contacted customer service on a few different occasions and they were always helpful and did their best to resolve the issue. The hardwire kit may require a bit of research to know what fuse is best to connect it to, but I've found that doing a Google search for 'dashcam hardwire [car year, make, model]' and I have either found helpful YouTube videos or Reddit posts. This is something that would be extremely difficult for any vendor to provide information for every vehicle. All in all, an excellent camera that should be a contender for best dashcam available at this time.

Great camera but pretty spendy, especially considering you have to buy add-ons to make it perfect or even functional in some vehicles cases. I have a new vehicle that doesn't have the 12V power point, which makes the included power cord useless. So the camera was not usable out of the box for me without buying the additional hardwire kit, which I would have wanted anyways to be able to use parking mode. I also had to purchase the anti-glare to put on the the mirror as without it, it basically has double vision anytime there's headlights reflecting in it (Yes even through my tinted rear window). The anti-glare works great for eliminating the double vision but then you lose the option of turning the camera off and using it as a regular mirror. I opted to also purchase the mirror bracket to give it a cleaner install look but it does vibrate a bit more than the factory mirror. Not being able to use this pricey camera straight out of the box lost it one star for me but they're amazing customer service gain them a bonus star.

The WOLFBOX G900 Tripro exceeded my expectations in every way. The video quality is extremely clear on all three channels front, inside, and rear. The 4K front camera captures plates easily, even at night or in bad weather, which gives real peace of mind while driving. Setup was quick and the instructions were simple to follow. The interface is smooth, the screen is bright, and the build quality feels premium. I especially like that it includes all the necessary wiring and mounting accessories, so you don’t have to buy anything extra. Parking mode works great as well very responsive, and the footage saves automatically. For the price, the performance and features easily compete with much more expensive dash cams. If you want full coverage of your vehicle with reliable, high-quality recording, this is one of the best choices out there.

UPDATE: Changed rating to a 5 from a 1. I finally spoke with customer services who immediately offered to remedy the situation and went way above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I am beyond impressed with their treatment of the situation and cannot say enough about how well they handled it. The system itself is fantastic. Extremely easy to install and work very well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their security and surroundings awareness. ————————————————————————— A 12v cord (problem 1) and it’s WAY too short (problem 2). Never even got the other components. Called the “customer service” line and waited on hold only to leave a message. Crap customer service, crap components, screen didn’t even cover the mirror - it was going to have to be offset just to hold. Won’t shop wolf box again.

I really like this dashcam/mirror. I installed this in my Jeep JT. When off, it is still a usable mirror albeit a bit "tinted." For me on sunny days I get glare, so I need to focus on the video. There seems to be antiglare screen protectors available. The objects seem to be far away, but they are close. More so the the passenger side mirror looks. I like the field of view it gives. I don't use it for backing up. I use side mirrors and factory backup cam for stopping distance. The amount of camera view is narrowed height wise in the display, which allows adjustability in the display. Video is very clear. Works well at night. I do wish there was a 60fps option. The extra camera video, I wish was higher resolution, but if you're just using it as a spotting cam. it's fine. I need to try and figure out on the extra cam, I have it "mirrored" so it views correctly on the display, but it's recording mirrored. So everthing is opposite words on signs, the left is right and right is left. I also bought the mount for my Jeep, which is very nice. Came in vey handy since I have a switch panel that I made that mounts just above the mirror. My biggest gripe and the reason for 4 stars is, it comes with a 12v acc. plug for power. This isn't a suction cup mounted dash cam that doesn't have other cameras with wires nicely routed. Where you put it in whatever vehicle you want to drive that day. This has wires for cameras, GPS and power. In my opinion, it's not the kind of system you have a wire coming out of somewhere to have a plug that can get in the way. To me that plug was just E-waste. It should come with a hardwire harness and no 12v plug. Having to spend more money to wire, IMO the "correct" way is just wrong. This model is already pretty expensive. I had to save up to be able to afford it. Over all I really like it. I even bought a different model for my wifes' car. Unfortunately had to buy a hard wired harness for as well. I have 2 other vehicles I would like to get Wolfbox cams for, but won't until they swap the power solution. I think it's a waste to spend more money to wire and throw away power plugs.

Way better than cheaper models from wolfbox. Love the concept of three cameras and I never thought they were so useful for off roading. Here is a couple reasons I deducted a couple of stars. Everyone is still wanting a better rear camera and night visibility. Still not great quality when it comes to this price. The big issue is the app. Keeps disconnecting when scrolling through the footage. Making the app completely worthless. Don’t waste your time on the app. Do the old fashion card reader and use the computer to look at footage. They greatly improved over other dashcams on their line up. Still need a lot more improvements to justify this price tag. Wait for Black Friday.

I have a Ford F-150 King Ranch and I recently bought a camper shell for it. My problem was that having this shell reduced my visibility from the rear view mirror. I also needed to replace my dash cam. I watched many reviews and I attended CES in Las Vegas. What really amazed me was the WOLFBOX G900 actually replaces your rear view mirror. It has a front facing 4K camera, a camera that I can face into the bed of my truck and one that I can place on my rear bumper. With the rear view number I can see very clearly what is behind me with no obstructions and it records! I can actually see behind my truck better than I could with a mirror.The front camera also records in wide angle and I can also see in the bed of the truck. The WOLFBOX G900 has WiFi and voice control with many other incredible features. It also has touch controls. It’s also cool that it does not take up extra space from my front windshield. Setup was a snap because it gets its power from the original power mirror. It also can be powered using a cigarette lighter adapter. This has got to be my favorite accessory I have bought for my truck!
