I have a Ford F-150 King Ranch and I recently bought a camper shell for it. My problem was that having this shell reduced my visibility from the rear view mirror. I also needed to replace my dash cam. I watched many reviews and I attended CES in Las Vegas. What really amazed me was the WOLFBOX G900 actually replaces your rear view mirror. It has a front facing 4K camera, a camera that I can face into the bed of my truck and one that I can place on my rear bumper. With the rear view number I can see very clearly what is behind me with no obstructions and it records! I can actually see behind my truck better than I could with a mirror.The front camera also records in wide angle and I can also see in the bed of the truck. The WOLFBOX G900 has WiFi and voice control with many other incredible features. It also has touch controls. It’s also cool that it does not take up extra space from my front windshield. Setup was a snap because it gets its power from the original power mirror. It also can be powered using a cigarette lighter adapter. This has got to be my favorite accessory I have bought for my truck!

The Wolfbox dashcams seem to be getting more and more innovative. When I saw the bumper cam, I knew it was time to upgrade my camera. The new video processing chip is a very nice upgrade. I do see an improvement in the night vision clarity. This is where all dashcams struggle as it's the most difficult condition to get good recordings in. Installation was a bit more difficult than the mirror mount, but not much more complex than the cameras that go on the license plate mount. Both have to go from the inside of the car to the outside and finding where the factory wires punch through can be a pain...but totally worth the effort. I don't like drilling new holes in my car and keeping things as close to factory as possible. If you were OK to drill an additional hole through the firewall, this might make the installation easier. The playback on my phone works great. No lagging at all on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. And being able to give it voice commands is a very nice safety feature so you're not having to hit a button to take the picture (which takes your attention from the road). All in all, I think this is the fourth WolfBox camera I've purchased for myself or members of my household and they have all been great. I may choose to upgrade some of the others to this model also as I think the bumper cam is a really great feature. It's important to make sure that when you're running your wire through the engine compartment, that you use many zipties as needed to make sure there's no possibility of a loose wire. A loose wire getting tangled in a fan or rubbing against a hot component, which could result in wire failure. If you can run the wire through some of the factory wire protection material, this is a good idea to do whenever possible. It's not necessary, but it keeps the wires organized and protected. Plus, you might be able to use some of the factory wire shields to hide some of the excess wire after your bumper cam installation is complete. Even if wire shields are not available, I ran the camera wire next to other wires. Doing so helps to make sure that you're placing the wire in a good place. I saw someone else complaining about the customer service. I'm not sure what happened for that person, but I've contacted customer service on a few different occasions and they were always helpful and did their best to resolve the issue. The hardwire kit may require a bit of research to know what fuse is best to connect it to, but I've found that doing a Google search for 'dashcam hardwire [car year, make, model]' and I have either found helpful YouTube videos or Reddit posts. This is something that would be extremely difficult for any vendor to provide information for every vehicle. All in all, an excellent camera that should be a contender for best dashcam available at this time.

Had it professionally installed a couple months ago at a Wolfbox authorized installer and so far so good. I had to order the parts through Amazon, which seems to be the norm with their installers, even though their factory phone rep had me buy wrong parts for my application. Amazon was great at returning the not-needed parts, promptly refunding the money. I love Amazon! Camera imagery on all 3 cams is very good. The rear bumper cam occasionally looses it signal and reboots because it's mounted on the back of my GMC Denali 4x4 via the factory extension cable, so I think a I'll unplug it and use dielectric grease in the connectors. That should help if it's an intermittent connection issue within the connectors and help repel moisture. Otherwise it works great. Just be aware the mirror gets pretty warm! I had a 5" ceramic 5% tinted film strip installed at the top of my wind shield and that seems to help keep it cooler and protect it from the hot sun. I strongly suggest you do the same! GPS signal reception seems adequate and reports vehicle speed correctly. Occasional drop-out passing under obstructions is to be expected, especially passing through tunnels, again, as to be expected. Overall pleased with Wolfbox customer service, but their phone rep did give me some wrong part numbers for my application. But it worked out okay! I have a few other Wolfbox products and so far I've been well pleased! Not bad for being made in the 'Old Country' - China!

One of my favorite off-roading upgrades.

My G900 has got to be one of my favorite Jeep upgrades. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until after it was installed. It’s been an absolutely amazing addition to our rig and has proven itself time and time again off road. When cresting a steep hill, it allows me to see what’s in front of me when all I can see through my windshield is sky. When packed out inside the Jeep, my rear camera serves as my rear view mirror. The dash cam, captures all the action automatically, even when we forget to turn on our GoPro or 360 cameras. I ordered the hardwire kit so as not to have to lug it into a cigarette liter plug. The included power supply puts out enough power to quickly recharge any other devices. The ability to speak commands to do things like take a photo or other functions impresses anyone who happens to be riding along. My only regret is not having gotten one sooner! Thanks Wolfbox, for an amazing product!

This has worked really well for me so far. The installation was easy enough but there are some practical reasons I only give it 4 stars. First, I can only imagine that most people purchasing this want to hardwire it into their vehicle for the security benefits. This kit really should include the hardwire components with the aux wire kit optional. Second, the width of the mirror has to be taken into consideration. I put this in a 2023 Gladiator and there is no way this can mount in place of the factory rear view mirror and still have functional visors. I dash mounted mine using the Bulletpoint mounting plate (great option) but it seems that a smaller offering with the same features would make sense. Third, while it is nice that there are so many camera mounting bracket options included, all of them are "cheap" with tiny screws that don't hold the camera positions permanently. I have no issues with the cameras during normal driving, but every time I wash my car I have to readjust the cameras because the pressure washer knocks them out of position. A small nut and locking bolt would be a better option then the included screws. The image quality and recordings are great though and I am happy with the purchase overall.

Outstanding customer service from Wolfbox

After about a year and a half of normal use, my rear camera lost its waterproofing and fogged up. What happened next is the real reason I'm writing this review. The G900 tripro is amazing. Looks good in my f150 and does the job, especially the bumper cam which is great for NYC parking and obstacle avoidance. I recommend. I reached out to Wolfbox support, and Mark answered fast, within a day. From the first email it was clear he actually cared about fixing the problem, not just closing a ticket. He was polite and patient, and he explained exactly what he needed from me. After I sent a couple of photos, he shipped a free replacement rear camera and new cables right away, and he sent me the tracking number. The whole experience felt personal and genuine. Mark handled it himself from start to finish, and when I wrote to thank him, he replied that same day too. It's rare to get service like this from any company these days. Wolfbox stands behind its products and takes care of its customers. Because of how they treated me, I'd buy from them again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone.

Dangerous. Dont buy

keeps saying rear camera disconnected. Will work fine then randomly goes offline. Online says it could be from cold weather but I live in sd and wont work when its hot during the day or cold at night. Wired it through the interior of my car just to have it mess up continually when I'm driving. That means no rear view mirror while I'm driving while it reboots and connects. Started after a week. Sometimes it shuts off 4 times in a row, dangerous for driving with no way to see directly behind you. After a month or two the rear image will randomly freeze after turning on my car and then u have to shut it off and back on to fix it. Update. Bought a second one to try. Literally exact same problems Day 1 this time, even with a new set up !. Update. Bought a 3rd one to confirm..... the 2 camera model, same issues !. Update. Now my battery keeps dying overnight, I think it's the camera time-lapse killing my battery through the wire kit I bought from the company. They got me good

Awesome upgrade to my car. I wish the rearview camera was higher quality than 2.5k, its a little grainy sometimes. Was not aware that it didn't come with the android auto/apple carplay like the g900 pro does so I was a little disappointed especially when I payed 300 for it on sale during prime days. Can't imagine paying the regular $500 non sale price to find that out. Still a premium product. Being a technician that also professionally installs products like this all the time I wish the camera harnesses could've not been pre-made so I could install them into the vehicle without having to loop wires. Also wish the camera mounted better so I could make it look oem. But I'll figure that out on a later basis. Other than that. Phenomenal product.
