I was apprehensive about spending so much for a toaster but I bought this one anyway. I am so glad that I did. It does not disappoint. It will toast almost anything to perfection and I have not determined how it does it, but the taste is so much better than toast made in any of my other toasters. The Wolf Toaster is expensive, as are all Wolf appliances, but well worth the money. My Son's family bought this toaster several years ago and I have admired it whenever I have used his. I finally took the plunge and bought one for myself. Toast, waffles, English muffins all turn out to perfection. I no longer set off the smoke alarm in my kitchen when I make toast for breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this toaster. Be sure to register your new toaster because to my delight when I did the Wolf Company gave me a choice of a free additional set of toaster knobs in black, stainless steel or red, my choice for registering.
