Just installed and everything working as it should. Mounting screws aren't the greatest, but used some of my own to also attached the side. With the top and sides mounted, the base is very secure. I wish is attached via two screws on the inside, but the one does suffice. Programming was fairly straight forward for both the keypad and biometric. No issues with installing amazon rechargeable AAA's or getting the battery hold back in as stated on another review. Very happy initially (especially considering the comparable cost). Long term, we will see.

Has consistently opened when needed, Would like light to be optional as if there were an emergency it would give the intruder a target. Easy to mount. Another thing I would change would be the wait time if there is a miss opening it. Critical time delay in an emergency.

It’s a good product. Built well. All that jazz. HOWEVER, it does NOT fit the smith and Wesson shields very well. I will be getting some foam to customize that part. The safe itself is great. I feel better when the grand baby is over since she is getting older and more curious. I never really wanted a safe but I will say, with the biometric access, it is very quick to get into. I would and have recommended this product. Will buy another in the future but please put rechargeable batteries with it.

Easy to install, great for short term storage. We live out in country and upon occasion we have unwanted 4 legged visitors. In addition we have grandchildren which makes securing firearms very important. I would characterize this safe as the old saying goes that locks are only there to keep the honest ones honest. The mounting screws are too small, replaced with 3” x 9 ones into a stud. Once attached to the wall even with the base firmly screwed to the wall the safe still vibrates and is off the wall enough for the bad people to pry it off. I feel strongly it will keep the weapon secure against curious little hands, but will secure my weapons in a more secure safe if I plan on being away for an extended period.
