Pros -Very well built, quality aluminum, thick anodize. -Easy to deploy and to put back up. -Beautiful gold finish, not gaudy. -Well packaged, arrived perfect condition. Cons (I have to really try to come up with anything) -A little heavier (I knew the weight duh) than I imagined but manageable. -Plastic film on almost every surface and some factory assembly was over the film, but this came off pretty easily and made sure the thing was without a scratch or mark. -This is clearly the height limit with this 18" width. Any taller and it must be wider at the bottom. But narrow means easy to store and maneuver. -Pricey but better to pay a few dollars more and be happy. This ladder has a beautiful appearance for a functional object. However, it is so light that carrying it beyond the weight restriction is dangerous.When i get to the top stairs it does feel slightly loose and sketchy. If someone over 300lbs or even around high 250+ i would be cautious. Every step you take on the ladder seems to reposition itself, and even the steps seem to have a little give to them. Although I adore the ladder and know it will do the job, be careful if you weigh more than 200 lbs. ... show more

The Good: -Tall -Lightweight -Easy to use -No assembly required -Pretty stable even at top step The Bad: -Steps could be a bit narrow for some people The Bottom Line: I’ve been using this step ladder all over the house. It’s much taller than my other step ladder and now I can get to places I couldn’t before. The ladder requires no assembly and is lightweight. At the top step it’s a little wobbly but not that bad it’s more stable than a ladder. The only negative I could see is the ladder might be a bit narrow for some people. I still use a wobbly old wooden step ladder I've had at least over 30 years. Even though it is wobbly and I don't always have a level solid place to put it, it works. I need to update it so thought I'd try this. This is a nice ladder. Aluminum so it's light for its size. But it is narrow and requires a level solid ground to set it on. Which outside is tough to find, rarely is there a solid, level surface. I find that on the higher rungs it's not that sturdy. I don't feel as secure as my wider but wobbly old ladder. For indoor on a solid level floor this works fine. But I really need a more versatile ladder to replace my old one. ... show more

After sustaining injuries to both knees last year while atop an old wooden stepladder, I ordered this new one with the hope that I could once again climb a ladder without fear of wobble or falling. It is an honest game changer. This stepladder is so much lighter than our old wooden one. It is stable and feels very secure. And it even looks modern and cool. I did have an aluminum step ladder years ago that I liked very much, and have to admit that this one even wins over that one. Needed a simple step ladder that would allow me to get into the attic and store away in the hallway without taking up too much space and looking so out of place. This ladder fit the bill. 5 steps gets me high enough and the feet doesn't wobble too much when I tried to do some wobbles atop the ladder so stability is great! It does lack the safety latch that would prevent it from folding on itself and collapsing, but the build is sturdy enough that I don't feel like it needs it. Storage is a breeze since I just lean it against the hallway cabinet at a slight slant and the legs are stiff enough that it doesn't try to open without human intervention. ... show more
