Here is your revised review with those additional details incorporated in a professional tone: ⸻ I purchased this sofa bed futon based on the product description; however, my experience did not align with what was advertised. First, the listing clearly states that no assembly is required. This is inaccurate. The frame arrives dismantled and must be assembled upon delivery. Additionally, once assembled, the frame does not feel sturdy or well-constructed. Second, the description lists the seat height as 26.8 inches, and the product images depict a couple seated comfortably at what appears to be a standard sofa height. In reality, the futon sits significantly lower than advertised. For comparison, I own a 20-inch couch that is noticeably taller than this futon. Because of how low it sits, it almost appears as though a component is missing. The proportions simply do not look right. In terms of comfort, I am 5’6” and weigh 123 pounds. After sitting on it for approximately 15 minutes to test it, the cushion felt as though it were deflating beneath me. The support is minimal, and I did not find it comfortable at all. Lastly, the return policy presents a significant challenge. While I still have the original box, the mattress was delivered vacuum-sealed in plastic. Without specialized equipment, it is nearly impossible to compress and reseal the mattress to fit back into the original packaging as required for return. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. I encourage prospective buyers to review the specifications carefully before purchasing. ... show more

As far as putting this together goes, the coating on the bars for assembly were all coated a bit thick, so it made wedging the bars into each other annoying and stiff for most of the assembly. But I did it myself in about 30 minutes. But a lot of the details on this just don’t look like anyone thought them through at all. The cushions all have zippers on them, but the actual zipper to open and close it isn’t attached, so you can’t take a cover off to wash it if needed. Which for white fabric that’s a teddy bear fabric (so it tends to grab all the dust on the floor), is a real missed opportunity. What irks me the most is that even newly assembled - the best this will look is frumpy. I thought maybe I got a bad foam insert, until I found the only zipper in this entire chair and opened it to find the frumpiness is due to chopped foam pieces being used to fill 2/3 of the chair & the pillow. So frumpy it is. The pockets on the arm bars don’t make much sense either - as there isn’t a bottom Velcro strap to attach it to the bottom bars on the seat, so there very flimsy and slide all around the arm bars. It would have been great to see them add maybe four inches of fabric on the bottom with a Velcro strap so these don’t move all over the place. When the seat is unfolded to create the “bed”, it’s pretty uncomfortable on the bottom. I weigh around 135-140lbs, and I noticed very quickly that I could feel every bar underneath the cushion, so there’s no way I could sit on this for more than ten minutes. All of this to say, I think it would be best if adults didn’t buy this thinking it would really work for them. I was created a reading book nook for my eight year old, and it works great for smaller children to get cozy in. But with so many metal bars being exposed (especially the arm bars), I wouldn’t suggest for anyone with toddlers around, as I think it would be a bit too easy for them to hit there heads on these bars while trying to get comfy. ... show more

This chair rests on the floor. That much is obvious from the pictures and the description. If you have mobility issues, I would suggest you keep looking at other options. The chair was very straight forward to assemble, and the seller is responsive if you encounter any issues. The cushions are very comfortable to sit on, and a 6 ft man easily fits lying down. The arm rests are pretty sturdy, but time will tell if they hold up under repeated use. ... show more
