There’s no better knife set, and no more genuine bargain on Amazon, than this Wizeka 15 Piece Knife Set, in my opinion. These knives are exquisite. They’re heavy, as premium knives should be. They’re a pleasure to hold. They’re as sharp as the sharpest scalpel. They’re beautifully, beautifully designed. The black knife block is stunning. The sharpening slits on the side of the knife block actually work! The scissors can cut through poultry bones AND skin. Everything the Amazon site says about these knives is true — and it says it in perfect English. The knives have an 80 year guarantee. I don’t know what more I can say to convince you that you should run, not walk — put these in your cart and go to checkout. [I truly don’t understand how these knives could have gone from $139, to $99, to now being offered at 50% Off. I actually think these knives are worth far more than $139. The price of these knives doesn’t make sense to me. So I had to do some research. It’s possible that Wizeka is using a pricing strategy called “Dynamic Pricing.” Dynamic pricing is when the price of a product is adjusted based on a variety of factors, such as demand, inventory levels, and competitor pricing. Wizeka may be using dynamic pricing to lower the price of their knives in order to increase sales or to compete with other brands. Another possibility is that Wizeka is trying to “Build Brand Awareness.” By offering their knives at a low price, Wizeka may be hoping to attract new customers and persuade them to try their products. Once customers have tried and liked Wizeka knives, they may be more likely to purchase their brand again in the future. It’s also possible that Wizeka is “Selling Off Excess Inventory.” If Wizeka has too many knives in stock, they may lower the price in order to clear out their inventory and make room for new products. Finally, it’s also possible that Wizeka is simply OFFERING A GENUINE DISCOUNT on their knives.     • Quite nice, a downside or two
One of the knives came damaged despite the fact that they are wrapped up very well. This is sometimes inevitable and the seller was very responsive to send a replacement. I absolutely love the look and feel of the knives. They come very sharp and I'll update my review over time once I can understand longer term how well they hold an edge. The balance of the blades is OK but not great for each and every knife. I wish that they had made the handles without the little perforations. I think these knives would look even more impressive if they were just smooth steel with no grips. Also, the little perforations on the handle hold water after use in the dishwasher which is just a little bit annoying. I love the look of the block that holds the knives. It is a nice solid black neutral look that will fit into almost any decor. It's quite heavy and should be stable in most any situation. ... show more

The design of this knife set is modernly impressive. The knives and scissor handles are comfortably shaped to conform to the grip of your hand while using them. Each of the knives has its size marked on the mid-section of the blade. It's a very impressive detail that WIZEKA didn't fail to incorporate when they made this set. By gently gliding the knives over fruits, vegetables or meats, it begins to cut through the food and then by applying more pressure, it cuts through the food effortlessly. The stainless steel and shape of the blades cut with sharp precision! They are NOT dull. The block is sturdy and slender. The slots for the knives and scissors are uniformly cut according to the size of each one so it's easy to know where each one goes when put back into the block after use. I wasn't sure if I would like the black color on the block but it actually makes the set look like it belongs in an upscale restaurant kitchen. I like the built-in knife sharpener on the side of the block. I haven't needed to use it yet, but I am glad that its there when I will need it. The set is easy to clean by hand or use in the dishwasher. Be careful washing them or putting them away as they are sharp. I have mine sitting on the counter and out of reach of children for safety measures. This set exceeds the value, quality and craftsmanship of knife sets I've purchased and used in the past. I highly recommend this set and plan to order some for Christmas gifts. I highly recommend this kitchen knife set. ... show more

I like this set overall, just not sure it's worth the $'s, but it's pretty nice. Knives are all sharp, but how long will they hold the edge? TBD... Thinner steel, but is really pretty sturdy, balance is a little off on the bigger knives but not too bad. I really like the knife sharpener on the side of the knife block. This is a decent full set of knives and also a good pair of kitchen scissors. Nice enough looking to keep out on your counter. I'll update the review after I used these for a few months. ... show more

This is an awesome knife set if you are someone who cooks a lot at home. You can feel the difference if you've cheaper sets before. I was a little worried when the photo of the bread knife did not appear to be serrated, but it is when you actually have it in front of you. The knife block also has a sharpener which I wish was labeled on which is the course one and which is the fine one. If you've used sharpeners before it is obvious if you look. I've but every piece in the dishwasher and they all came out good with no streaks on the metal. ... show more
