just the right oil filter for my classic mustang

wix has always been my go to oil filter when it comes to classic muscle cars. It comes in a nice box and is ready to go. It's a fairly large filter so I do pre-oil it, meaning i fill it up with a tad of oil before I screw it in since on my application it comes up from the bottom at an angle.

Great value for size and quality of filter

It is a high-flow filter, so keep that in mind that it's not going to be the absolute best at catching smaller debris. That said, the quality of the filter is fantastic for the price. I use this for an aftermarket power steering filter and it doesn't impede the flow of fluid in any noticeable manner, but increases the capacity of the system significantly. For the price, size, and how common the thread and gasket sizes are, this is a no-brainer.
