This oil cooler feels extremely solid and well-made — the full aluminum construction gives it a durable, heavy-duty feel that inspires confidence. Installation was a challenge, but that’s entirely due to the tight space and design of my Jeep, not the cooler itself. Once in place, it fit perfectly and lined up with all the connections without any forcing or modifications. I decided to use OEM gaskets just to be on the safe side, but the included ones looked decent as well. After installation, everything sealed up nicely with no leaks, and oil pressure has been consistent. I’ve put it through several drives now, including longer trips, and it’s holding strong with no signs of weakness or seepage. Compared to plastic versions, the solid aluminum construction should hold up much better over time, especially under high heat. It’s a little bit of work to get in there, but once it’s installed, you can feel confident it’s going to last.

Ile tell you it’s awesome unit fixed the leak and cooling issues… one minor detail I had to replace the 2 sensors that came with it but other then that it’s an amazing oil cooler and filter housing and the cap is good color matches my trucks engine bay color

Replaced my broken OEM with this one after my oil change place over torqued my oil filter cap. It has worked spectacular for almost a year. You can’t go wrong getting this. You will never have to worry about the housing being broken from over torquing the oil filter top during an oil change. Not to mention the price is excellent.

Came with installed oil filter + 1 extra cartridge, you'll need simple tools like 8mm hexa cube, 13mm Hexa Cube and E8 Inverse Torx cube to install it , have to put some oil at the main oring in order to avoid damage it when pressing to seat, be prepared to clean the mess and be careful to remove excess of coolant or oil before release it to avoid mix in both systems, don't remove de coolant pipe from oil adapter to avoid coolant spill in work area, remove it from opposite side, one of both sensors have a lip that may not allow you to connect it but you can cut it and works flawless. Easy DIY job with medium skills. Cartridge cover in aluminum is a plus, usually clips in plastic get broke, price it is way better than doorman.

Dude. - they spray painted the whole thing black and red, it'll dissolve into the coolant and engine oil over time. Why?? - so many burrs and aluminum cast lines that will flake off and end up in engine - o-rings have frilly edges and are not sized properly - oil cooler looks 4 years old and is torn up. Casting marks prevent it from laying flat, it'll leak gobs of fluid - Filter cap was glued shut from the dried paint covering the threads Did I get a prototype unit or something?? This is weird.

Oil cooler did not work for my jeep(16’ wrangler unlmtd) replaced part but oil leak got worse, jeeps are partial to molar parts only put in mopar cooler housing and leak stopped. The kit was nice though wish it would have worked for me

I installed this in July of 2025. I was a bit skeptical of the quality because of the price point, but figured it was worth a try. I will admit that I did not use the provided gaskets and o-rings, opting to purchase the oem set instead. I've had this oil cooler on for over 5,000 miles now and a road trip from Colorado to Washington state and back with no leaks. I confirmed this today using a bore scope. I must say that I'm happy with this piece so far.
