I gave it 5 stars because the tattoo pen is good tattoo pen for the beginner or the expert, however, the ink is a different story. I would not recommend using the ink that comes with it. Even after shacking the bottles for 5 minutes the ink comes out clumpy like its been sitting on a shelf for 5 years. You have to use a knife or scissors to open the ink up and then you get ink all over. If you buy this, buy different ink when you do.

The media could not be loaded. This is a genuinely nice tattoo set. This Rotary Pen is a strong powerful motor with the motor part of 7.11v-9v which is great for lining and shading tattoos and color packing and produces long stroke of 4.5mm (about 0.18 in). It has a unique head end knob ball that lets you adjust the cartridges conveniently. It has a smooth concave convex firm grip for the handle for easy work to provide less sliding. More tattoo artists are going for the rotary pens because they provide flexibility and to render precise details because you can move around freely without a cord in your way to render your best work. This might be preferable for most artists that love to take time to render their best work. It allows you to move your pen, your wrist and your fingers and hands and arms freely resulting in all kinds of angles. I would say the downside of a rotary pen is it might not be as quick as a corded one. Although this one can be plugged up to a machine if needed with the provided cable cord. This is a neat power rotary pen that has 13 gears to deliver the best of your work at the pace you want for consistency. The set comes with two powerful batteries of 1600mah capacity which has a support work time up to 10 hours depending on the present current load flow. The batteries come equipped with an LED display to let you know the present battery usage and read the current voltage levels you are using. The material of the pen and battery is solid and sturdy which will provide a long time of use. The mechanism of the whole unit is superb and works effectively and provides a smooth operation. The set comes with 20 pcs of single use sterile classic series cartridges needles. Which provides superb needles of 5 each of 1003rl-used for lining work. Which means there are 3 #10 diameter needles grouped together for round liner that are grouped in a circle. 1205RL- round liner is superb at lining, dot work and detailed work.1207rpm-which consist of 7 needles grouped together at the point of the bar. Used for lining for superb quality and versatility. Allowing the seven needles to form a circular pattern which creates a broader and smoother ink distribution. 1009m1-equipped with a patented capillary action tip guarantees a smoother ink flow for a longer period. The rotary pen offers a smooth operation with just a gentle and swift action to switch the gears and continue working. The best thing about cartridge needles is they lock the needles into place and keep your needles stable and on track. A complete set with rubber gloves, grip cover tape, transfer paper, practice skin sheet and 14 assorted color inks.

I am really new to tattooing, but I found this tattoo pen to be easy to use. It’s not heavy and with the shape, I can hold it like a pen. I find directing it to be very easy. I’ve only used it on practice skin, so I am not sure how that would change with a person who might be moving around. This set comes with just about everything you need to get started. I really like how the tattoo pen comes with two batteries, because if you have a long session, you don’t have to worrying about stopping. The kit also comes with som fake skin so you can practice as soon as you open the box! I can’t speak to how great it is for detailing, because I’m only used it for broader art. Overall, I’m really impressed!

This tattoo pen is perfect for beginners and professionals. I like the weight of this pen it feels great in my hand. It comes with 2 batteries so you can tat twice as long. It also comes with a variety of ink however I wouldn't recommend using it on people even though it says it is sterilized in my experience kits like these the ink is only for use on practice skin so I would pay a little more to get some good ink to use on clients I recommend getting some Dynamic or Mothers..Kuro sumi is a fantastic ink as well but yeah it comes with a variety of cartridges and a carry case everything you need to start tattooing u recommend this to anyone just starting out their tattoo career but after time you'll wanna get better stuff
