I've learned w/wireless doorbells, buy as many Receivers possible (3 min) @/when bundled price is lowest/unit. Tone emitted (at most settings) is unique enough to hear over tv/stereo/smartphone. Speakers are almost as small as I'd like & the outside attachment is straightforward (though NOT happy w/the door bell as shipped - easily "bumped" out of its holder (had to reinforce w/bit of gaffers tape @ top & bottom) to insure this all-important component not lost in snow, etc).
