Very nice device, easy to install, loud ringers. simply just plug and play. The only thing is after a two or three years of use. It rings by on it's own without any person touching the transmitter. Not sure if it's sensitive to the wind, or a prank doorbell ringer or it's just defective. I ruled out a prank ringer because my Doorbell video camera showed me no one was at the door. Someone let me know what is going on. Otherwise it's a very good, easy to use wireless doorbell ringer. It would be perfect If I can figure out why it rings without anyone at the door. Could be the wind or defective. If it's the wind. I would buy another model with a transmitter that isn't so sensitive to the wind. If it's just a defective transmitter for that one item. I would just buy the same item or try a different transmitter and see if it works. If it does that same issue which rings without any one at the door, that might mean that entire series has a manufacture issue and then I would by a completely different model. Easy... right out of the box. I have a front main entryway for clients. And I have a rear entry point for vendor deliveries ..staff... and service people. Both doors must be kept closed and secured with a key code submission required. They can not be constantly monitored or manned, so an easily installed, easy to be seen push button "doorbell" was needed for both doors. However, many devices we had shopped for just didn't quite "fit" best. We had 2 entry points located far apart. The front door had a greater priority to be answered by our staff promptly, of course. So, differentiating tones for each entry were ideal Furthermore, our staff could be in 1 of 3 sections of our office at anytime throughout the day. Each one is fairly sound isolated due to heavy doors between them. The 2 "doorbell" buttons thus needed to signal 3 seperated receivers. Wiring an intercom system would have been way too costly and a vast overkill of a simple issue. The fact that the 3 receivers plug into AC outlets made this product(s) the ideal "FIT". AND... I'm the future, if we need to alter the scheme of what's needed.... more of the ring push buttons AND more of the chiming receivers can be easily added.... Each having it's own ringtone. And cheap too! Our secretary needed 15 minutes, from opening the Amazon box, to everything being tweaked and operating as desired. Score! ... show more
