This is quite a versatile doorbell set! This doorbell has adjustable volume and 38 ringtones to choose from. It has a light that lights up when the doorbell rings, and the brightness is adjustable. You can even change the color of the indicator light. You can also place the transmitter three different ways; screwed in, mounting tape, or you can attach a lanyard. My daughter asked me for a door bell set because sometimes when we knock on her door, she has her headphones on and she can't hear us. I also will probably use the second set for when one of my kiddos is sick and needs to summon me. I work in homecare, and I think this particular doorbell set would be perfect for when the patient needs to call for the caregiver. You can place the two receivers in different locations in the house, and you can hang the transmitter on a lanyard around the patient's neck. I was a little confused when I first opened the box and saw some important instructions. The word usage and illustrations were unclear, but I figured out that you will need to open the receiver to remove the connection blocking tab from the battery before it will work. There are lots of little thoughtful components to this doorbell set, but I think that my favorite is the ‘Do not disturb’ note on the back of the transmitter. If you do not want to be bothered, you can turn the transmitter over in its holder so the button is not accessible and the visitor knows to do not disturb!

This wireless doorbell duo was a breeze to set up and is very easy to use right out of the box! I attached one doorbell to my front door frame and one to my back door and put one receiver on my first floor and the other on my second floor. Everything worked perfectly. These doorbells are attractive and have a gentle blue light so they can be seen at night. You can choose your chime or seasonal song from many choices and you can set the receiver to have a night light turn on automatically in the evening. The chime volume can be adjusted and I can hear it clearly throughout my 2,000 square foot home at mid volume. I also love how the receivers are designed as outlets. The doorbells slide into holders and can be attached to your door with screws, but I chose to use the included adhesive to attach them instead. So far they are holding up just fine in the heat, humidity and rainy weather we have been having.

I received this item as a part of my membership with Amazon Vine. I dont have a wired setup for a doorbell, but i needed a doorbell that i could easily hear wherever i am in the house. I dont always hear knocking, especially if it isnt done heartily or if its a short knock. I also dont need two doorbell, but i wanted the two receivers/speakers that i could put into different areas. I was able to get both speakers responding to the one doorbell i have on the outer door. The speakers bing-bong loudly enough to be able to hear them anywhere in the house now. So far the outer bell has been weather resistant (and it is rainy season so it is being tested!) and i am really happy with the performance. Def recommended!

I love this wireless doorbell! I have a doorbell wired next to my door which is broken. And it's a pain and an expense to get a handyman to fix it. So I love that I could get a wireless doorbell and install it myself. And it's very easy to install. You just plug the receiver into an outlet. And there are two methods for installing the transmitter holder. One is with screws and the other is just with the double stick adhesive tape provided. And I chose the latter. I just stuck the holder directly to my door. And all you have to do is open the transmitter to remove the little paper protecting the battery and then close the transmitter and you're good to go. And it's pretty easy to use. There are four buttons on top of the receiver. You toggle through one of the buttons for different volume levels or mute. You toggle through two other buttons to choose one of the 38 ringtones. And the fourth button allows you to choose three levels for the night light or off. And it's also kind of fun that you can turn the transmitter around in the holder for a do not disturb message. Though I wonder if people would actually pay attention to that. This set comes with two receivers and two transmitters. I don't know why I would need more than one. I guess maybe for a back door. Unfortunately, one of the receivers did not work. It's supposed to give a doorbell sound when you plug it into the outlet. And I tried it on two different outlets and couldn't get any sound. I tried toggling the volume button through the different levels. I tried toggling through the different ringtones. But I never got any sound. I did not try to activate the second transmitter, or pair it with this receiver. It's supposed to give a sound just when you plug it in to the outlet. So it shouldn't need the transmitter to make a sound. So that's a little disconcerting. But luckily I only need one receiver. The night light does work on this receiver. The instructions are pretty well written. The only thing I had trouble with was opening the transmitter. They provide a tiny screwdriver which you insert into one of the two tiny holes on the bottom. I spent several minutes trying to unscrew what I assumed were tiny screws inside the two holes. And I finally realized that you just had to poke at the plastic tab inside and lift up a little bit to get it to pop open. The diagram shows a curved arrow moving up, when I look at it closely. But I initially thought the arrow was moving counterclockwise, which was why I was trying to unscrew something. And because they called it a screwdriver I assumed there were screws. But there are no screws. They could have just called it an opening tool, or something like that. And then the instructions say to remove the waterproof cover, put the battery in, and replace the waterproof cover. But the battery was already in, so I put the cover back on. But then I opened it again and realized there was a piece of paper preventing the battery from engaging which had to be removed. So the instructions were not quite accurate there. But other than that it was actually quite easy to install. And if you do it correctly it's very easy. The only other thing is that I'm not sure it really looks like a doorbell. So I'm not sure if people will actually push it. I put it on the door near the door handle. Maybe I should have put it near the knocker. I guess time will tell. Also, when you push the doorbell you don't hear the ringtone when you are outside the door. So you don't really know if it's working except that it lights up when you press it. But despite those small flaws, I think this is a really nice solution for replacing a broken doorbell. And I love the variety of ringtones. I'm very happy with this product overall, even though one of the receivers didn't work.
