I've tried 5 of these wireless CarPlay devices. This one works the best and is the simplest to install. The latency when changing tracks exists, but is minimal. It auto connects when I get in the car and is usually ready to play by the time I push the start button. It also stays connected and has no issues that I've come across. I also like that as it starts the display it provides on the car screen is pleasant enough (I tried another brand where it looked like a bunch of code on the screen, which was jarring). I use a sideways USB adapter that lets it mount flush and makes it easier to hide away (I can't even see that it's in the car). ... show more

Update: After working well for a few weeks, it starts to disconnect and require reboot quite often (1-2 weekly). Latest firmware update wont fix. Down grade go 4 stars. I’ve been using this unit for about a week, so far so good. The setup process is very similar to the carlinkit that I also have. Once setup is done, it will automatically connect to your phone whenever you get into the car. During my daily 30 commute in the last week, it never restarted once. My carlinkit restarted a few times during my last 3hr trip. I haven’t had a chance to test this lucky more unit for more than 30 minutes drive. Compared to carlinkit, this lucky more is a little smaller, and the build quality is better; I like the built In braided usb cable and the mirror like finish of the luckmore. If you only need CarPlay get this luckmore, since this is cheaper. If you need both CarPlay and android auto, get the carlinkit. ... show more

This product has absolutely been a life changer! No longer do I have to manually connect my phone to the car via a cable, which keeps the phone endlessly charging (not my favorite for phone longevity) and has not been the most reliable in terms of connection. Now I just get in the car and it automatically connects to apple car play in about the same time it takes for me to get going. It doesn’t always resume the music play, but that’s not a big deal. It also might not connect if you are still connected to another WiFi, which can be annoying, but hey, it doesn’t happen often enough to be an issue to me. I did have some trouble during the first connection set up, as it just would not connect to my phone, but after I followed the trouble shooting steps in the manual, it’s been a breeze. I did not have high expectations for this product. It was marketed to me by Amazon at a deeply discounted price and so, after procrastinating for a while, I finally bought it. I use it with an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Kenwood DDX6706S aftermarket CarPlay stereo deck in my car, and it has worked flawlessly from the moment I plugged it in (about a week). Setup was really easy; you choose the adapter under Bluetooth on your phone, just like you would for a set of headphones or any other Bluetooth device, and CarPlay simply begins working. Firmware update is also easy by following the instructions included in the box, and doing so actually added a few features. I have one major critique: the one and only LED indicator is too bright, and for some reason it blinks the entire time you’re using it. You’ll want to either cover that light with tape or mount it so that the light is hidden. Otherwise, this product seems really well-made and I honestly just didn’t expect quality at this price point; I expected finicky performance, time wasted troubleshooting, and a headache. What I got instead was the kind of plug-and-play simplicity we pay lots of money for, and I’m very happy. Pros: -An affordable upgrade to an existing wired CarPlay system. -Works surprisingly well. -Easy setup. -Minimal bulk. Cons: -The LED indicator is too bright and it blinks annoyingly while the adapter is connected. This is very distracting at night. Notes for improvement: -The device appears under Bluetooth and WiFi as a default factory-created name. I would like to be able to change and customize these names. -I would like the ability to dim and/or disable the LED. ... show more
