I like that the scanner is protected with rubber against falling. It comes with a stand and it can work both wired and wirelessly. I keep it wired so it is always charged. It does recognize QR codes, and for 1-Dim(ensional) bar codes, it does detected almost in any position, even sideways. The laser device inside swivels, so it does read and recognize 2-Dim QR codes. Sometimes it does not recognize a bar code until you first scan another one. I'm going to get with tech support with samples of this. Other than that I'm highly satisfied with this product.

Good scanner. Easy to install and set up. Had a little trouble with configuring continuous scanning so the scanner can be used on the stand and the manual had no mention of that feature; had to e-mail support team and was sent a barcode to configure that function.

When you set the scanner to automatically scan, opposed to manually pulling the trigger, there is a high probability that it will scan a barcode twice.

Product comes with both a wire and a small USB receiver. It correctly reads wirelessly at least 20 feet away both upc and QR codes as well as several other codes. It charges with both the included USB cord and any USB mini connector cord.
