Good scanner. Easy to install and set up. Had a little trouble with configuring continuous scanning so the scanner can be used on the stand and the manual had no mention of that feature; had to e-mail support team and was sent a barcode to configure that function.

Not pleased with this scanner. I tried to get a scanner that would move around the shop with me, wirelessly, as this one states it will. But even plugged in to the laptop it only reads barcodes occasionally. I have to unplug it and plug it back it in after 3-4 scans, wait for the beeps and start over. It is just not reliable. I am still loading all my inventory into my new software program and not even up and running on a daily basis with this equipment yet so I very disappointed.     • BE CAREFUL... NOT GOOD FOR SMALLER BAR OR QR CODES

I bought this as I need to scan standard 3of9 (1D) bar codes on parts boxes and expect many vendors to move to 2D (QR) codes in the future. The first one I received obviously was opened, used, and returned missing stuff. I did get a replacement in due time. Once I started using it I found out why someone else had sent it back. The problem with this thing is as soon as you pull the trigger to scan, it's "pickup" (or read area) is so large, it often times scans the wrong code or scans two or three other in close proximity and adds them all together. If you get up close to the code so it will not scan adjacent codes on the same label, then the scan width is too small. Worse, I contacted their "support" department and they told me to shoot a video of the issue. Seriously? Amazon did agree to take it back even though I had tossed the packaging. I even ordered a different unit. Then I thought through it. Since I ultimately will need 2D (some of my stuff already has both 1D and 2D), dropping back to 1D won't work well. What I did was to take a thick piece of card stock and make a template that will allow me to shield all of the unwanted bar codes (1D and 2D's) from being seen by the scanner.
