    • Well made, great value for money, but has some issues with reading symbols in barcodes.

Pretty nicely made (made better than a lot of the other cheap Chinese barcode scanners but not quite as good as something like Zebra or Symbol scanners) and is certainly a great value for the price. Seems to work "mostly" pretty well, easily scanning most barcodes. The only thing that I noticed, and why I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that it seems to read some symbols incorrectly. For example, we have a printed barcode of "12345V-001" but it reads the dash/hyphen as a slash instead (i.e. reads it as "12345V/001" instead of "12345V-001") for some reason. All our other barcode scanners, as well as barcode scanner app on my phone, all read it correctly so not sure why this particular barcode scanner does not. There's no such problem with correctly reading letters and numbers. The issue appears to only be with non-alphanumeric characters. ... show more

My KU061 scanner worked once then stopped scanning. Instructions are for the more expensive models. This should be pretty easy, it worked once before. I turn it on and it just cycles. Tried factory reset and manual reading mode, but cannot scan. Wasted 20$
