  • Great quality guitar string stretcher.
Love this guitar stretcher works great good quality fast shipping.

  • Don't fix what isn't broken!
All this thing does is damage strings. I used it, went to tune my guitar, and struggled to get the D and Hi E strings to tune. Then those strings had a vibrating sound on the 1st fret and the Hi E had a dead note on the 11th fret. I thought it was a bad set of strings. When I loosened them those strings scrunched up and when I cut them they coiled. Don't waste your money. Just play the hell out of your strings and just retune them. ... show more

  • Shredneck String Stretcher.... thumbs up!
The media could not be loaded. Excellent idea! This thing is great! The spinning wheels make all of the difference. Less stress on the strings. I have other string stretchers where the string slides though slots and I always felt that this put undue stress on the strings due to friction. The wheels on this stretcher roll as you move it up and down the string, eliminating the friction. I had no problem reaching close to the nut with the wheels. Actually, I just switched around the way the strings run through the wheels and no problem. I'm going to get a few more to give to my other guitar player and my tech. Thanks Shredneck for a great tool! ... show more

  • Easy to overdue it.
Be careful, it’s really easy to overstretch and damage your strings. Works well once you get a feel for how much tension to apply.

  • This stretcher is legit…
Wheels instead of friction seems to work best. This is a step up from the genuine “Stretcha”. Be careful because if too much leverage is used, the string could break. Pro Tip: lubricate the wheel axles with a tiny amount of oil for smooth function.

  • not good
Have been using the "stretcha" for a few years and saw this unit with rollers on it. Not good the rollers take up to much height and reduces the available room below the strings. this will not make it up to the nut without significant lifting force on the strings. Going in the trash and i will continue to use the "strecha" . ... show more
