I purchased this set hoping it would make stripping tons of copper scrap wire easy but when I received it that was not the case. I want to preface this comment with saying that they do not claim to be used for stripping whole lengths of wire but I made a bad assumption. The product works great for what it’s intended for (stripping back enough to make connections etc.) everything looked high quality and the case was very nice to keep everything together.

This is a very nice quality timesaver for anyone doing electrical work. It's designed for solid wire applications at 8 AWG through 14 AWG. It strips effortlessly and automatically stops at the proper depth. No visible nicks or scrapes on the conductor. The wire twister worked ok with two strands of 14 AWG, but performed much better when it's full with four strands. Wire nut installer works fantastically with significant contact between the conductors. The wire nut tool also makes quick work of the removal of the nuts. The kit comes with two extra screws and blades. All the bits snap into a typical quick connect drill with minimal wobble. The assortment of wire nuts is somewhat puzzling since it comes with very tiny blue nuts, and even tinier grey nuts. I recommend this for anyone that does wiring with 8 AWG to 14AWG wires. It really saves ya from the sore fingertips!

I am a DIY yourself kind of person and I take care of the wiring tasks at home as well. One of the things I hated the most about doing that was to strip of the wires and twisting the bare coper wire to join them and secure them with a cap. Countless times I ended up with the sharp tips of the wires pinching my fingers until I ran into this. It does not only eliminate the risk of pinching but also makes the twisted wires much more secure so I have been using them even to rewire the existing connections just to be sure :) 5 stars for this

It was ok for the first couple tries, the lock mechanism is a failure, it slips all the time when u push the wire to the stripper and it wiggles alot. It makes me frustrated using it so later i place some e-tape at the gauge/length i need, in the whole set 12awg is whats needed the most and the wire twister( u can twist the cap with it too)
