My hands are XL, and the gloves fit great without being bulky. Very happy with the touch screen support. I have not really tested the waterproofing. My only issue is on a full day hike in 35º-ish temps, these gloves really weren't warm enough. They really need liners or bulky coverings. I know, I should have read more closely and I should have read the reviews. I searched for heated gloves and this popped up with the nice orange glow of a heated glove and not so bulky so I bought it. So disappointing that it was just a glove. But as gloves go, it fits nice and feels nice. Haven’t tried it outside yet. I rated 3 because it seems like a decent glove but not a 5 because I feel the orange glow advertising is misleading. I got these gloves because my husband had a pair and he liked them. I was cautiously optimistic because my hands are oddly sized (short fingers) and I can never get gloves that fit like they're supposed to, so the touch screen doesn't usually work that well. I live in the Chicago area so I expected to wear them more than 1 time, but so far, only once. The gloves fit perfectly and the touch screen abilities worked like a dream! Used these cleaning pool skimmer basket. Water temp was ~ 50 F. Removed basket and hit it with water hose for about a minute. Inside of one glove was just a little bit damp, but definitely NOT drenched. I'd say they're pretty good for the $ so far.
