The power cable to the battery was frayed and will not work.

The included battery switch is not compatible with the included cables. The 3/8” lugs in the switch are too large. I drilled out the cable connectors to make it work.

The media could not be loaded. I took this electric winch kit out on a trip. My truck got stuck in some deep mud. This winch pulled me out. The synthetic rope was way easier to handle than steel cables. The wireless remote was a huge plus. Being able to stand back and control everything from a distance made the whole process way less stressful, especially since the ground was a slippery mess. Setting it up wasn’t hard at all, though I did have to grab a mounting bracket separately. Once it was installed, it didn’t feel bulky on the front of my truck. Plus, the waterproof design came in handy since it started drizzling while we were out. No issues at all, it just worked. For anyone who goes off-road or wants that extra security when towing, this winch is solid. If you’re an SUV or truck owner who enjoys outdoor adventures, this is definitely worth considering. ... show more

The 12V synthetic cord is very sturdy, and the wireless handheld lighting and zoom control is simple and convenient. It is waterproof and not afraid of getting wet which is great because I will use it at the lake and in rainy days. Overall performance is excellent and worth recommending!
