It is really soft and comfortable, plus it keeps us plenty warm. And it is pretty enough you wouldn't have to have a comforter or bedspread. It is a little heavy but nothing I couldn't handle by myself. I haven't tried washing it yet. If there is a problem, I will edit my review. If you’re looking for quality, softness and a blanket that doesn’t shed this is the one to buy. I was thrilled to wash it and find this blanket doesn’t shed nor ball up. I love it and will be buying more for gifts! (I bought the beautiful baby blue in a king)

This blanket is unbelievably soft, it is thinner than I expected but still thicker than most other fleece blankets. It washes pretty well, it stays just as soft but does have a problem with pilling. I have a reusable lint rake that works well to remove them (it's inconvenient and time consuming, but I only have to do it the day I wash it). It does not shed, I pulled on it to test, no little fuzzies came out. I am concerned the seams won't last, but they've held so far.
