It took a while to put it together but the instruction were good. I have four bags of sand on the stand and it is very stable. I assembled it for 8' to 10' height and it adjusts easily. If you want lower than 8', you assemble with one less pole.

This hoop is literally amazing. The assembly instructions were very easy to understand. The parts were clearly labeled. The wrenches needed to assemble it were included (not like flimsy, thin, flat wrenches that hurt your hand to use & slide off easily- like actual, full sized metal wrenches.) The parts are all VERY solid and sturdy. All metal parts are powder coated. I put most of it together by myself and only needed assistance at the very end. Took maybe an hour total to assemble & it was cold & dark out, so probably less time normally. It’s an excellent hoop - super easy to adjust the height. I would HIGHLY recommend getting this one if you’re looking. I did weeks of research reading tons of reviews, so save yourself all that time since you’re reading this review & just get this one. I don’t have a single complaint about it & I’d buy it again in a minute. Kids use it every single day. My kids + the neighbors. Oh, and I got absolutely nothing for writing this review. I just wanted everyone else to know how great this basketball hoop is! My kids said it was their best Christmas present ever. ... show more

My kids love this hoop - It is very easy to adjust its height- 9 y/o can do it themselves. This is an excellent product at a decent price. I had trouble assembling this hoop by myself. It was a little challenging, but it was very easy to follow.

    • Good Hoop So far but doesn't lower to 4ft when built to highest shooting range.

I like this hoop and it replaced one that was damaged by a tornado! I was hoping this would fold down to 4ft so we could fit into our garaged (HOA and in the event of another storm) but it only goes that low if it's built to the smaller scall. If built for average shooting, it will not lower that low. We still needed a hoop though and its nice none the less. ... show more

Child loves going to the playground to play basketball but the court is often occupied by other people. When super crowded he doesn’t get a chance to play so I got him this hoop to play at our home backyard. Installation was pretty straightforward. My husband assembled it in less than half hour. At first we totally put it up wrong. We installed the base facing frontwards which was wrong but we didn’t realize it until our son started playing. But correcting it was not bad, we just easily adjust it to the back. We put water into the base and to keep it stable and it seemed pretty sturdy after. You can put on additional weight to the top if you want to make it more solid. But just the water is enough for me. Even with the water inside, it was easy for me to move the hoop from one corner to another corner of the backyard. Very mobile. This basketball hoop can be adjusted to about 10 feet high which I’m looking forward to use when he’s a little older. Right now the medium height is perfect for him since he’s only nine. Child had been playing it for the past couple of days, very fun and no complaints from him so far. Highly recommend. ... show more
