Picked up this hoop a couple weeks ago and it’s been getting used pretty much every day since. Setup was way easier than I expected, me and my brother had it done in about an hour. The height adjuster is super simple, so the kids can play at a lower height and we can raise it up for real games. The backboard is sturdy and feels like it can take a beating without any issues. Once the base is filled, it doesn’t wobble or tip, even when we’re going hard at the rim. I love how easy it is to roll out of the way when we’re done, but it still feels solid when we’re playing. We’ve had everything from quick games of horse to normal games with neighbors, and it’s been awesome every time. It’s already become the main hangout spot in the driveway for friends and family. Honestly, if you’re looking for a portable hoop that feels legit, this is the one to get. Totally worth every penny.

Got this for a pool basketball hoop because it checked off most of the boxes. Affordable ✅ Portable ✅ Quick Adjustable ✅ Fairly sturdy ✅ The caveats now. After one day of rain the bolts have rusted. Won't really effect the sturdiness but rust in concrete is stain city. The rim-to-backboard width is not ideal. 16" rim is like 2" short of regulation and the backboard looks dinky compared to it. It would've been PERFECT with a 14" rim. No ball. Why is this a caveat? Because what in the heck size ball do you use. Using a regulation size basketball is just too big. I bought a 9" pool ball but that's almost regulation size. The normal ones that come with kiddie hoops are too small so I think a 7" one is probably the right size but I won't know until I return the 9" ones and get those. Just upcharge us for a proper sized basketball. Rusty bolts and small rim to backboard ration is what makes it imperfect but hot damn is it nicer than the little tykes one we had.

Pretty nice basketball hoop. Won’t say installation is easy, but the installation instruction manual comes with it is really helpful. By following step by step, the installation is not a problem. I used the 3 poles installation, and it is pretty stable. I used the uncapped hole (green arrow pointed) to fill the base with water. Even though it is heavy, I can still move it easily with the built in wheel as described on the website (red arrow pointed). My location is pretty windy sometimes and the wind has not made it fall yet. The basketball is not came with it shown in the pictures. It is just somehow the reference. Another convenient feature is really nice that you can adjust the height really easily by simply press the handle (purple arrow pointed) to slide the rod up and down and lock into place. 2 pics can pretty visually help to see through the differences. Good entertainment or training playing with this basketball hoop. Overall, it is a pretty nice basketball hoop.

We bought this goal a year ago and the ‘shatterproof’ goal just shattered. Super frustrating and disappointing because this goal was for a 9 and 11 year old so it’s not like they were dunking on it or anything. A shatterproof goal should last more than a year with kids shooting on it.

Hoop does not go to 7 feet 2 inches as advertised. We raised it as high as it can go (poles have “stop” marks to let you know how high to raise). It’s 6 feet 8 inches from rim to ground. At this full height the pole wobbles which feels cheap and will most likely wear out in time. In my opinion, this is a decent inexpensive starter hoop for younger kids, up to kindergarten or 1st grade. It’s easy to put together. If you have kids older than 1st grade I would recommend going with a larger hoop that extends to 10 feet and has a larger backboard.
