Inside is storage for your remote and a lounge blanket. It's orange plush is beautiful and soft. It's heavy. There is quality One thing I didn't like was placement of 2 screws on bottom legs. Was annoying to maneuver around but it all worked out Stunning! It's also not small at all. So the people stating this wanted a coffee table. This is to rest your legs. Works beautifull and is big and a good height too. Can also sit on it as spare guest stool/chair

The color is pretty but definitely not navy blue. I have a similar one (but actually navy blue) that I purchased from Overstock. It was a few dollars more and I use it as a vanity stool. I bought this one as a step for my senior dog so I did not assemble the legs. The size and stability of the seat makes it perfect as a step for a small, old dog hopping onto the couch.

Real wood on top. Would have been great laptop table in bed. Fluffy and a hoot. Well made and sturdy 60’s design. Good balance. Top fits well. Fibers would need little care. That stuff’s tough! Not pink enough for me. Again, too much blue … mauve is what it is. Or a blued pink. I prefer more clear color.
