Chrome plated cooling racks are hard to find. This one was just the right size and I really like the chrom plate. It is easy to clean and looks great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chrom plated cooling rack.

At 14.5 inches wide, this is too big for (what I believed was) a standard double-wide baking sheet. This rack hangs off the side. Well made, but wrong size for me. See images. Measure your sheet before ordering.

Junk, don't buy it. It is extremely flimsy. The one I received had a manufacture problem - some of the spikes had not been cut on edge so they were dangerous. I tried to return and was refunded but told to keep it. I needed one right away so was stuck using it for a day. It can't even support the weight of a one layer 8" cake on it. The cake will be resting on whatever is under it. Even a batch of cookies are too much for it. I'm not sure what its is good for so it's no longer in my kitchen. ... show more

My wife and I have been trying to find this type of cooling grid for quite some time. Everything that we could find locally was very cheaply made or did not have the cross bars. The Wilton cooling grid is about the same quality as the one that we purchased about 25 years ago. This is also good for cooking bacon/Turkey bacon in the oven because they fit right into her cookie sheets ... show more

We have an older Wilton rack just like this...WELL, just like the picture. Ours has 25 squares across the shorter side, just as pictured on the listing. But the one we got has only 17 squares, and thus much bigger "holes." The squares on ours are about 1/2" square, while the new ones are about 1" square (actually rectangular, but much bigger). The smaller holes are much more useful to us. When ordering this, I counted the holes in the picture to make sure it was the same as ours, but what we got was the one with the bigger holes. Oddly, it came packaged with a picture of a rack with the smaller holes--the one we wanted! So it's a good rack if you don't mind the larger holes. ... show more
