Description

The CE Smith Pontoon Roller Guide-On is an essential accessory for any boat owner who owns a pontoon boat. It is designed to make loading and unloading your pontoon boat onto the trailer a smooth and easy process. This guide-on is ideal for bunk-style pontoon boat trailer with box, channel or L-beam frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall. The guide-on features a minimum friction rolling action that easily guides your pontoon boat onto the trailer. The height of the guide-on is 25" above the trailer frame, which makes it perfect for most pontoon boats. It is designed to be mounted with roller bunks 2-3" from pontoons on a trailer frame cross member, making it easy to install. The guide-on is constructed with U-bolt mounting brackets and galvanized steel construction. It also includes two rubber roller bunks that provide minimal friction and improved performance. The guide-on also comes with zinc-plated hardware that adds extra strength and longevity. Also, the guides stick out of the water high enough to give you something to see while you’re lining up the pontoon for loading. Don’t buy the other brands. Product is well made and hardware is the same as one would buy at a hardware store. Installed on a Tri-Toon. One man job using a quick clamp. Helps align the outside pontoons with the bunks quite well. Nothing on my trailer will survive a direct hit with 24 foot boat without bending. Pontoons require a slow, careful approach when loading. Much more challenging than my 21 foot ski boat, but with practice and patience it gets easier. These guides help with current and wind. 30 day update. Game changer for a my Tri-Toon. You can feel the guides “catch”” the outside pontoons and hold them true as you advance up the trailer bunks. Strong current, wind and ignorant boaters and jet skiers making waves at the ramp are no longer a problem. Should be standard equipment on all pontoon trailers. Several other pontoon owners witnessed the effortless loading and stoped me to inspect the installation. Again, slow and careful for the initial contact. Highly recommended. ... show more

Biggest problem loading my pontoon is the back would swing out and now load crooked. These rollers prevent that and load straight every time

Absolute garbage. In steep ramps they come up and hit the bottom of the pontoon. I have a big dent on my starboard pontoon. plus they are now all bent up. Fortunately it did not puncture it. Stay away!!!
