Awesome Platform! Easy to assemble, easy to install. Took trial and error on my part, but eliminated all wind noise and can leave it on all the time. Does it come in Chrome finish?

This thing is huge! LoL. I purchased as an upgrade to my other rack (Rola brand) on a 2015 Ford Explorer XLT. This one is much larger and has much more room. The installation was a breeze, since I already had previous experience installing. Due to the size, ensure to put it together outside (not in a small apartment like me LoL). All the required tools were there along with the attachments, and everything feels well-built and durable, obviously I would not stand on this or attach a top tent but that being said, it feels very strong. Being a platform, I found the noise, especially on the highway, to be a lot more reduced than my previous rack with the basket walls. Due to the size, I did find some slight wobble, since obviously the rack extended beyond my roof bars and the front mount, but I found this easily fixed when I attached additional mounting brackets to the roof bars. The extended length also allowed me to attach a front, 32" offroad light, bottom mounted beneath the platform bar, which also kept the platform from wobbling during rough terrain. I love the look of this rack, and it also allowed much more room for additional offroad lights (front, rear, left and right-side lights, etc.). The diameter of the bar is also much more convenient to find the right mounts without going through a bunch of rubber adapters. Very well worth the money! I was also able to attach my side awning with no hardship at all. *I'll post picture once I find them on my phone

Great platform. It is contructed with quality materials and has ample tie down options. The assembly and installation was a breeze and it attached to my crossbar with ease. I especially surprised to discover the anti rust additive that was included, it was a very thoughtful addition.

The roof rack was easily put together and installed on my roof bars. The quality of this rack is impressive. Seems super secure, heavy duty metal make it super strong and worth the price. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a quality roof rack.

I recently bought this product and attached it to the roof of a Yukon XL and drove my family of 7 down the east coast of the US. I must say I am quite happy. After taking many long roadtrip with a giant plastic egg style roof carrier, we decided to switch to this flat rack. Installation was easy and I find if you use the rust protection gel that is included with the shipment that you will not have trouble with rust. This product can hold a lot of gear! I bought the full length version which fits perfectly on the roof of my large SUV. I also bought an Amazon basics roof bag, plus 3 large Samsonite duffle bags. I left one section of the rack off during assembly, but I plan to add it on for future trips. One suggestion I have is to consider purchasing a wind guard with it. This does not make noise when gear is loaded, but without gear it makes a whiring noise. A wind guard should correct this from what I understand. Overall, this was a great purchase. We are very happy.

Good, sturdy roof rack. I normally use a roof bag, when I need extra storage for a road trip. However, I just got a new car that has a very long sunroof. So, I needed a solution to keep the bag off the roof. I'm deducting 1 star because it was a bit of a pain to put together. Mine arrived with rubber feet on the ends of the 2 baskets. These needed to be removed before I could fit the baskets together, as instructed. Two were very easy to get off. For some reason the other 2 were glued on. I have no idea why they would do this since the baskets don't fit together otherwise. I had to rip these off with pliers. One foot was glued on so much so that there was residue left on the end. This made it very difficult to fit it inside the other basket. Because of this, I needed help with inserting both ends evenly at the same time. We had to bang on the basket in order to get the glued side to fit it. This caused some of the powder coating to be chipped off. We finally got the baskets inserted together, but they could have made this a much easier process.
