I bought the biggest one. Fits like it was made for my 80 Series Landcruiser. Went together way. A bit tedious with so many screws. Loctite on each to ensure it doesn’t rattle apart. T-slots seem adequate, but I haven’t tested them thoroughly yet. I will update after taking it over the Rubicon Trail next month. The clamps are a rubber coated steel that seem to hold the rack on well. My crossbars are 1.25” DOM tubing and I elected to add a 3rd to make things more stable/strong. I can walk on the track with no flexing. It’s quite solid. The t-slot hardware rings seem well made; time will tell how good the “304” is made. I couldn’t find it anywhere, so I’ll mention that the t-slot bases measure 20mm x 20mm.

I'm very happy with the quality and the capacity of what it holds. It is lightweight and I can easily remove it myself. It's sturdy and inexpensive with good support. Great for carrying extra camping gear and is the best roof rack on the market for the same price. The installation steps are very easy and the overall construction is sturdy and durable. It fits perfectly on my 2010 Cadillac Escalade, very happy with this purchase, great value for money, works as expected, perfect luggage rack at an affordable price!

My family completed a 4,000 mile, 2+ week road trip this summer with the Wildroad 71"x47" Flat Roof Rack, and it worked great! It comes with handy eyebolts and we were able to secure items with compression straps. No bolts came loose during the trip, nor were there any other issues. I do recommend using a power tool and thread locking compound to tighten the many screws that hold it together. Assembly was not a problem. Some pieces press-fit together and may appear not to fit perfectly, but they work just fine within the necessary tolerances. I recommend purchasing with plenty of time before your trip in case of missing parts. I did contact customer support for this problem, and they were responsive and solved the problem just fine. Also, be aware that there is no adjustment on the platform to accommodate vehicles with different spacing between the roof cross-bars. If your vehicle's cross-bars don't move (as on my 2025 Toyota Sienna), you'll likely need to make your own system to compensate. After a little thought, I easily did so using sturdy 3/4" plywood and some extra bolts from the hardware store. See my photos for an example. Rust should not be a problem, since it is made from plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel. And Yes, it is sturdy after it's all put together. Think of a truss bridge: small parts, but once together it's a sturdy structure. However, I wouldn't put a roof-top tent on it and plan to sleep there. Just use it for a reasonable amount of cargo. It's not heavy for its size. I do recommend two people for moving it around because of size. Finally, this platform cost a LOT less than the namebrand options from companies that want to sell you a lot of overpriced accessories. So, if you're competent and can make up for the mounting issue, it's a tremendous value.

★★☆☆☆ I purchased this roof basket because of its excellent reviews, but my experience with assembly was extremely frustrating. The biggest issue was that one of the attach bars had multiple holes that did not line up correctly with the frame. This wasn’t just one difficult hole—several holes on the same bar were misaligned, making it impossible to install the included M5 screws normally. I also had alignment issues with the corner brackets. On each of the four corners, at least one screw was extremely difficult to install because the holes did not line up properly. I loosened the surrounding screws, confirmed the parts were oriented correctly, and tried multiple times to get everything aligned, but the final screw in each corner still would not seat correctly. As I continued trying to assemble the rack, the hex sockets in several of the included M5 screws stripped before they could be fully tightened. I now have to purchase screw extraction tools just to remove the damaged screws before I can finish the installation. I’ve assembled plenty of furniture and automotive accessories over the years, so I’m familiar with parts that require a little adjustment. This was beyond that. The repeated alignment issues made what should have been a straightforward assembly much more difficult than it should have been. To complete the installation, I’ll likely have to enlarge some of the holes in the attach bar or request replacement parts from the manufacturer—neither of which should be necessary on a brand-new product. The basket itself appears sturdy, and I’m only planning to use it to carry a lightweight solar panel, so I’m hopeful it will work once repaired. However, the quality control on my particular unit was disappointing. I’ve included photos showing the misaligned holes and alignment issues so other buyers know what to look for.

I've been loving this roof rack! I have a full sized suv with parallel racks running front to back, but no cross bars. I started looking into name brand roof rack systems and it would have been over $1,300! I don't have that in spare change to try out something that I'm not sure just how much I will use it. I purchased the Wikdroad Roof Rack instead & am writing this review with nothing but praise for it! It took me about 90 mins to assemble with a neighbor stopping by plus 2 dogs wanting me to throw balls for them, so it shouldn't take you as long. TIPS: * use a power screw driver or it will be extremely time consuming as many of the screws are quite long * wait until then outer frame is put together before tightening all of those screws, & same for the cross bars as well Attaching to the truck took a bit and I needed help another set of hands bc: it is large, my truck it very tall, & I didn’t want to scratch the roof of my car. It took almost an hour to secure all of the brackets, but mainly there was a lot of adjusting, and positioning it in the correct spot on the parallel roof tracks. So, how’s it treating me??? I LOVE this roof rack! It makes things such a breeze everytime I have to secure anything to the top of my vehicle! This makes it easy because my Amazon-purchased, channel-locking Kayak racks just tighten down onto the rack wherever I want them and that’s all! It sure beats them to get for me to take down the kayak racks as soon as I'm back from the water! I've hooked camping equipment to the rack and was able to avoid using a hitch carrier. This way is much easier now that I don't have to block my tailgate. If you're on the fence about it, my opinion is that it is worth more and is a great asset for anybody who enjoys the great outdoors or could use a rooftop solution.

After delayed shipping, I finally received product and started assembly. First impressions ok. When I started to put the plastic corner connectors into their respective front and side rails I found one would not completely seat. After some careful measurements, I found the metal fasteners were 1/4 inch shallower than the other three corners. Called Amazon support and as usual, they could not connect me with the company to discuss a work around. Horrible customer service on Wildroad's part and quite frankly Amazon should stop doing business with vendors that do not provide any support for their products. Needed this rack for my trip, now I have to regroup and find another alternative. I WILL NOT BE BUYING MY NEXT RACK FROM AMAZON!
