There are a ton of cameras out there and most are probably just fine, but I’ve used these Wildgame Innovations units for several years and have been satisfied. They are easy to set up, are weatherproof, and produce good images. Battery life seems pretty good, and they are easy to mount on a variety of trees and posts. They are basic units; no cellular sending pix to the office, but if you hunt or just like to see what wildlife is in the area and can get by to check them then occasionally then they are a pretty cost effective solution. Note that pictures above were taken with a camera pointed at the reader screen. Had I downloaded the images off the memory card they would be sharper. ... show more

For $40 I can't imagine you could find a better game camera than this one. I got 3 of them and put them out in June of this year, and as of August 9th they are still going strong after taking hundreds of photos of wildlife on our property. Day time or night, clear pictures, easily triggered, and recycle quickly. I included a couple random shots it took. Captured foxes running by camera in middle of the night and produced reasonably good images. Raccoons easily identifiable in nighttime photos. The cameras are small, so remember where you put them or you may have trouble locating them. LOL I can't recommend this more highly for money. I've had ones that cost 3 times as much and gave blurry photos, or no photo of animal because of slow trigger. Pick some of these up you won't regret it. Only caveat, make sure the sensors are clear of close by rustling foliage or you may get a lot of photos of the leaves. Very sensitive motion detector. Doesn't get triggered by foliage unless withing a couple of inches of sensors. Awesome little game cameras. ... show more
