I bought this combo kit after researching dozens of models available on Amazon. While most others have similar or in some cases better features, nobody could beat the sale price of $85 for a blower and trimmer with a 4.0 AH battery AND 2-hour fast charger. This combo replaces a Homelite corded electric edger, an Earthwise 18V NiCad trimmer, and a Shop Vac corded electric blower I've had for about 15-18 years. That being said, I wanted to give this 4.5 stars, not 4, but Amazon wouldn't allow it. The battery alone is worth $60, and it exceeded my expectations for holding a charge: I was able to trim around about 400 feet of backyard fence, 180 feet of retaining wall (90 ft. long, top AND bottom), 32 feet of concrete patio, 28 feet of concrete sidewalk, the base of four trees in my front yard, and both sides of my 48 ft. long driveway before the battery was drained to one bar on the indicator and couldn't power the trimmer any longer. I put the battery on the charger and started mowing my 14000 square ft. lawn, and it was 75% charged in about 90 minutes, just in time to use the blower to clear my patio and driveway of debris. What nobody in the reviews seems to know is, you can buy this brand online from Tractor Supply (although Amazon's price on this kit is WAYYY better). And, if you sign up for their Neighbor's club and then successfully apply for their Tractor Supply credit card, you can buy an extra (fast) charger for ~$35, wait until the new cardholder points are added to your account, and then use them to get a 2.0 AH battery for basically almost FREE ($16.99 + tax + shipping). They were carrying the 4.0 AH battery for $59.99 but seem to have discontinued it, so that's why I bought this combo kit over the other Amazon options listed here. The cons with this unit: the included trimmer string is too thin (visibly NOT .065", compared side by side with some .065" string I have) and I constantly found it was snapping off 2" away from the cutter blade with just normal use, but that's easily remedied by rewinding it with .065" string after the initial spool runs out. The spooler is not auto-feed like someone else suggested in a review and the description claims, but has a manual button you have to keep pressing until your line is long enough for the cutter to retrim, and the blower tube could be longer, although it did just fine for removing grass clippings from my pavement. All in all, I'm happy with the features, the build quality and warranty are excellent, and I would recommend this model and manufacturer to anyone! ... show more

I just finished weed eating, edging, and blowing both my front yard and my neighbors front yard on one battery. When I put the battery back on the charger, I still had 3 bars left. I love the simple adjustable features for different tasks. I will add that we keep our yards pretty well manicured so it didn't require a lot of power usage. The only issue I have which is temporary is the string that comes with it is crap. It doesn't cut thru the tough stuff while edging. So, you have to keep stopping to feed new string since it keeps breaking off. But, I'll use it until it runs out and replace it with tougher string. Again, a temporary problem. I got this trimmer combo because of the price and the fact that it had two batteries and other packages only came with one battery,,, the performance of the weed trimmer is fair,,, it does not have tap line extension you must stop and disassemble the line head to pull out more line but the LINE THAT COMES WITH IT ,,is super strong and durable and it was ready to go right out the box .. battery performance is good I've used it about four times now over the course of a month .. after the initial use the batteries lasted about 45 minutes from a full charge with constant use during that period.. The shaft of the trimmer has a good length it won't break your back unless you're over 6 ft tall The leaf blower worked great the first time now doesn't seem to be as powerful ,but if only using for blowing excess debris off your front porch or sidewalk it will do the job. Overall I'm happy with the purchase thus far... And for the performance that it gives I think it's a pretty good deal .... However if you're purchasing this for severely thick bush plan on putting in a great deal of elbow grease and effort Vs. spending more money on higher grade or commercial equipment bottom line as you get what you pay for in this case the best part of the deal was the extra battery it will be needed trust me 😁 ... show more

It’s super lightweight. That comes in handy when you’re holding it for a long period of time. It’s not terribly loud either. The blowing power seems just enough. I’m looking forward to using it. After all the leaves fall.

The product arrived on a Sunday just like it said. Didn't believe that they'd deliver it since the post office ain't working except the supervisors. But it arrived as said. Amazon has been delaying my deliveries by making then late because they wait too long to begin shipping 🚢 them. Due Tuesday and they take out the money Monday right after I order it and it's due to be delivered Tuesday they apologize for it being delivered late but that doesn't get me my package or items I've paid for. Works great. Battery lasts awhile. It cleaned up my trailer driveway and porch. Blower works nice and pushes out a lot of air. The weed eater has plenty of cord to cut down the worst weeds. Would buy this product again. No problem except couldn't get the string to come out till neighbor helped me figure it out. You should buy one of these for around the yard. ... show more

Am 76 year old man so needed a high performance light unit and so far this foots the bill. Love the harness strap really helps take the weight and balance the trimmer. Would like to shorten it up a little, supposed to be "telescopic" but nothing in the instructions and it's not obvious to me. Like the blade a lot for bigger tougher stuff; thinking about getting other blades. Would rate it a 5 but support is sorely lacking. Have not used it enough to determine battery life. ... show more
