The media could not be loaded. I recently bought WiMiUS K3. Without many online reviews or YouTube videos, I basically roll the dice with this projector after extensively researching and comparing other projectors in this price range. My primary use is weekend movie theater experience with family while we still figure out when we will be comfortable going back to the movie theaters again. As such my budget was no more than $300 (interestingly it is slightly less than what I spent at theaters last year). My goal was to get something which can play most of my Blu-ray discs, 99% of them are 1080P, good enough contrast ratio and brightness so we can watch during day time (in basement). The WiMiUS K3 hit all three requirements, it comes with native support for 1080P, 7200 Lumens and 10000:1 contrast ratio. I do not have any testing gear to validate any of this but I let you be the judge of the pictures and video I have uploaded. The picture quality is really great and it is BRIGHT! In addition to the three features mentioned above, WiMiUS K3 also has WiFi Support which means you can stream video or pictures from your phone, tablet, or computer. I was able to connect my iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 13 without any issues. Setup was really straight forward. This is a great feature to view pictures and videos from the phone with family and friends. The projector has 2 HDMI, 2 USB 2.0 and a VGA port for video inputs. There is also support for AV and headphone jacks for sound output. However, I ordered a 30 ft HDMI cable to hook it up with my home theater system for full theater like experience with surround sound. If your setup doesn’t allow connecting with HT system or you wanna watch movies in the backyard the projector has decent built in speakers as well. The volume of builtin speakers can be adjusted. You can plug in USB drives to play movies, music or watch pictures using the built in media player. For the price and features I am really happy with my purchase and have already watched 4 movies in a week! On top of all the features and picture quality, at this price point it comes with 3-year warranty and my credit card also adds 2 additional years. Looking forward to 5 years of worry free coverage! I got the K3 with a coupon for $220. Very affordable price, decent picture and brightness. It is physically larger than I was expecting. I have another LED projector and it's like a toy it's so small. This projector is much more substantial. 2 HDMI ports. The setup instructions could have been more clear, but it didn't take long to get it connected to my WiFi network. - USB iOS support was perfect. No issues. Plug in the lightning cable into the phone, plug the USB end into the projector. Switch the input, done. - WiFi 'screen mirroring' took more effort. After connecting and streaming some movies over the Plex app, it would hang trying to play some files. Others seemed to play okay. I looked at my router to identify the Wimius device IP address, and then entered the IP address into my iOS browser (safari) and authenticated. I switched the network setting from 2.4G to 5G, and then connected to my 5G network. This made a significant improvement in performance and iOS 'screen mirroring' works good now. iOS is still on the 2.4G network. - Android I was not able to get to work. I didn't spend much time troubleshooting - I went to settings - wifi - wifi direct (tab) - selected the Wimius device, it connected, then dropped the connection. It would not stay connected. I applied the latest Android updates on a Samsung A10e device but no dice. - USB play, I added some MP4 files to a flash drive and tried to play them. Some played, others shows "Invalid Format" - though the files do play everywhere else I've tried them and are the same MP4 file type. - HDMI with a ROKU, worked great! This is how it will be used primarily so I'm not concerned about some of the other challenges. ... show more

    • You will love it, if it isn't DOA. And its not 120 hz.
I got this unit on sale at 50% off and for the price it was the best deal of all the sub $400-500 projectors @ 1080p. I installed it in my garage on my 150" PVC with black backing screen. Mine arrived DOA, it would turn on and off after 15 minutes and kept doing it. After I got my replacement I was very happy with my projector. Here is what I liked about it and what I didn't. (Out of five) Image Quality: **** Sound: ***** User Interface: **** Fan Noise: ***** Connectivity: ***** Pro: Good image quality, you are stretching 1080p over 150" so it can only look so good. The speaker was the main reason I got this projector. They are rated at 10W each and sounds amazing, full, and loud! Plenty of connections and it is easy to set up. The focus works well and the system has a digital reducer to help you fit the image into your screen. Very quiet. Con: The standard image settings are too washed out for me I had to find my own sweet spot. And it does not have an optical zoom. I do not think you will find that at $500 or below anymore. Its NOT 120hz. I can only get 60 hz. As long as it doesn't bit the dust again it should be a great buy. I did my return through amazon so I can not speak for the seller. ... show more
