Top Amazon Reviews

  • Fast, cheap, and convenient
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
TLDR: Love the speed, the price, and the ease of installation. Edit: The company reached out to me and had me edit my review because it mentioned something they didn't want me to mention. It was about a promo code I received that they didn't want mentioned because it could confuse other buyers if they didn't receive it. I expressed that I didn't appreciate them trying to dictate how I write my reviews, as I try to review products with total integrity, but I removed it in order to avoid confusion. I just installed the card (14JAN20) and it works perfectly. It fits a bit loose in the PCI-E slot, so I had to use the screw included rather than just the "toolless" clip on my case. It's stable with the screw tight, so no problem. Installed the drivers from the executable on the included CD and they worked fine. I didn't need to restart for them to work like so many other people. I did promptly download the latest drivers for the AX200 chip out of habit, but I can't say I noticed any major change in performance. The card connects to my WiFi AC Linksys combo modem/router at 866.7Mbps (per Windows) on a 5GHz connection with one floor between it and the router. That's better than the WiFi AC card in my laptop, which connects at half that. I have a 200Mbps down ISP connection and I'm getting data rates that I've clocked at a consistent ~150Mbps when downloading files. I have verified that the bluetooth is working as expected. I only use it for my wireless headphones, so I can't comment on the data rates or power efficiency of the Bluetooth 5.0. It connected to my headphones without any hesitation and the sound quality is not perceivably different from my USB transmitter, which is good. Overall, I'm very impressed by this card, especially upgrading from a WiFi N card. I'm looking forward to seeing the performance boost when I buy a WiFi AX router in the future. ... show more

  • Bought mainly for bluetooth 5.1
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
I mostly bought this for bluetooth 5.1. I wanted a PCI-E card for my Windows 10 desktop computer rather than a small USB dongle. There were very few with bluetooth 5.1. This one has wifi 6 as well as bluetooth 5.1. It took about 5 minutes to shut my computer down, install it in a free PCI-E slot and boot it back up again. I did not have to install any drivers. The bluetooth icon appeared in the system tray and my Tozo NC9 earbuds connected without any problem. Very easy to install and get working. At first the audio would cut out occasionally when listening to my earbuds. I have not had this problem when the earbuds connect to my MacBook or phone. It had to be something to do with the card. I had installed the card in the lowest slot in my computer. This meant there were 4 USB cables, a displayport cable and an ethernet cable all above the two antennae. Perhaps they were interfering? I powered down and moved the card to the highest slot in the motherboard. The top half of the antennae are now above all of the cables at the back of my computer. Earbuds connected again and this time there were no audio dropouts. I walked outside of my house into my garden to tend to my hot pepper plants and no audio dropouts. The Bluetooth 5.1 on this card has good range. I also tried pulling the ethernet cable and connecting to wifi. I do not have a wifi 6 router. It connected at 400mbps which is faster than my internet bandwidth. I am very satisfied with this bluetooth/wifi card and would highly recommend it to anyone. ... show more

  • GOOD QUALITY and Works well GOOD QUALITY and Works well
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
Installation was easy. When I switched on my computer, I got a code28 error, but once I connected my computer with my internet using another USB adapter that I had, I was immediately updated with intel softwares for the WiFi and blue tooth and blue tooth started working immediately ànd then WiFi started working after a system restart. Our computer shows full wifi signal now (Previously with my Dlink usb 5g AC adapter I got one point less than the full signal). Checked the properties of the new ubit adapter, it shows 550 Gbps (it was 580Gbps in Dlink) but it plays hd videos smoothly without any hustle better than my old one with consistency. The key is Intel card used in this ubit adapter, if you have Intel motherboard go for it, it makes the process easy. It sync very well with Intel board and my computer works faster than ever as soon as it was installed. Thank god for this ubit product with intel card on it. You will definitely surprised by the orange light when it works and love it. Works very good as a new product, will update the review after a few months of usage about the reliability of the product. ... show more

  • Price vs Performance/ Quality is in your favor. Intended for gaming.
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
So this was relatively in expensive as far as Wi-fi adapters go. I wanted to replace my USB Netgear A7000 because of signal issues and overall density where I live. I live in an apartment complex with several hundred units and thus it's subject to channel crowding. Installation was easy and windows auto detected it for me. Learning from prior experience, I downloaded the drivers prior to installation. Setup was straightforward with no issues. It automatically connected to my wi-fi network. It was also capable of connecting to the WPA-3 network I setup. I ran several speed tests and monitored connections speeds. Overall connect speed and signal strength went down. Unexpected, but definitely wanted my ping went down and for gaming this is most important. Most likely the stainless steel case is reducing signal strength and speed simply due to its composition and the placement of the tower. I do however maintain full download capabilities from a WAN point of view (500 Mbps down 50 Mbps up) with no packet loss on the tests I ran. I pinged google servers with 5 sets of 30 pings. Games such as Archeage, Star Wars: the Old Republic, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Final Fantasy XIV all showed lower and more stable pings, and more consistent frame rates. I figured it would be best to show what this is paired with in case you are interested or find it helpful: Rig: I7-9700K 32GB Ram 1TB NVME RTX 2070 Super MSI Z390 Gaming Plus Router: Asus AX-11000 Gaming router ... show more

  • Straightforward install. Works as expected. Straightforward install. Works as expected.
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
The package comes with the card and the taller riser installed. A smaller riser adapter is in the package along with screws and a screwdriver. An internal USB cable and 2 external antennas are also included. Install took about 5 minutes. Simply open your case and install in an available PCI-e slot. Note that the Bluetooth feature requires a connection to an internal USB header on the motherboard. After researching many internal wireless cards they all appear to require this USB connection for Bluetooth. I didn't have an USB header available so I'm only using the card for WiFi at this time. If you don't have a available header you can buy an expansion card or internal hub (I'll probably do this soon and then update the review). I left the existing wireless adapter installed on the motherboard. This doesn't interfere with the operation of the ubit card and I left it enabled. After turning the computer back on the card was detected and driver automatically located (due to leaving my other wireless card installed). If you don't have an internet connection I would recommend downloading drivers from Intel beforehand. I did run Intel's Driver and Support Assistant utility and determined that a newer version of the driver was available. Note that you don't need to download a driver from Ubit. The Intel drivers work great and this is largely the reason I selected a card with the AX200 chipset. My wireless speeds increased dramatically from the b/g/n card that came with my 6 year old system. I don't have a WiFi 6 router to test, but I wanted to "future proof" the install. My router is a Netgear cable modem router combo and I'm satisfied with the connection speed. Ookla speedtest showed 132 Mbps download speed about 25 feet from the router and through 3 walls (getting full bars strength). ... show more

  • Good performance & build quality Good performance & build quality
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
It simply works well. Although manufacturer was kind enough to include a driver CD, I didn't even need to use it. Before installing the card; I downloaded latest Intel Wi-Fi6 drivers from Intel's web site (you'll download two files; one for wifi and one for bluetooth). Then I installed the card. On next bootup; I installed above drivers. It worked just fine. Beware; if you have another bluetooth adapter on your computer; make sure to remove all paired devices (from Windows bluetooth settings) before unplugging that bluetooth adapter. Otherwise; your new card simply won't "takeover" those previous bluetooth pairings. Worst; it'll still populate your bluetooth devices list - but you won't be able to connect them with your new card. If you forget doing that as I did, you can still cleanup AFTER removing your old bluetooth adapter and installing your new card. Just follow these steps to completely clean out both driver for your old bluetooth adapter AND paired devices to that adapter: a. Press Windows key + X. b. Click on Device Manager. c. Click on View. d. Click on Hidden Devices (these will have light blue color). e. Look for your old Bluetooth adapter and paired devices (they'll all have light blue color). f. Right click on each entry and click uninstall one by one (again, only the light blue color ones). Items for your new card will have darker blue color - do not delete those. Then pair your devices to your new bluetooth card as normal. I actually bought this card only to add Bluetooth 5.0 capability to my home-made PC. I had a plug-in USB bluetooth 4.2 adapter. I was (keyword is: was) hoping to achieve wider coverage area with bluetooth 5 (as marketing makes you believe). But I have about same coverage distance. That's OK. At least I can use later codecs with my bluetooth 5.0 headphone. I even tried an external antenna; trying to see if I can extend bluetooth coverage. A 12" external antenna with a 15' extension cable. My aim was to "pull away" bluetooth signal from electrically noisy signal neighborhood of my PC case. I tried many different placement and directional positions with that external antenna : no improvement at all. On that regards; take a look at my photo: that marked 2.4GHz antenna also works for bluetooth. As I have wired gigabit network connection to my PC; I'll not be using the wi-fi portion of the card for foreseeable future. So I disabled it thru Windows network adapter settings. I tested wi-fi connection before disabling it though; it connected with high signal strength. Good to know that I have wi-fi6 capability when I need it. Note: Bluetooth works even if you disable wi-fi driver. ... show more

  • Easy to install, has better WiFi and Bluetooth functionality that others at this price point
Color: AX210S+BT5.3
I just installed this into my PC. It's my first time custom ordering each and every computer part, so I actually forgot to check if the motherboard has WiFi functionality innately. So, after I built my computer, I quickly realized something was missing! After searching around a little bit, I found some WiFi card that was like $70. I was about to order it, when I realized that I also needed Bluetooth functionality. So! I reset my search, and found this card. The price seemed really good, considering there are more expensive cards that don't even support WiFi 6 or Bluetooth at all. Yet this one supports the new Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6. To get the Bluetooth functionality, you do need a spare USB header on your motherboard. Luckily, I had 2 extras, so I wasn't even a little bit concerned about that. I powered down my PC, took off the side panel, and installation from there was super easy. Just remove the PCIe expansion slot cover, and slide in the Ubit WiFi card into an open PCIe slot. Use the provided screw to secure the back panel of the WiFi card to your case (or use case screws if your case provides them - that's what I did, since the Ubit screws are not the same color as my case). Then plug in the Bluetooth cable into the card (on one end) and into your open USB header on your motherboard (on the other end). Screw on the antennae, boot your machine, install the drivers from the disk, and voila. I tested the download and upload speed at speedtest.net, and got something like 110 Mbps download and 23 Mbps upload, compared to my laptop's 31 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload (on the same network.) It's much faster downloading, and upload speed is comparable anyway. I thought it was very thoughtful that Ubit provided an alternate size expansion slot if you need it, as well as 2 screws and a screwdriver. I'm very happy with this card, and I'm happy to install it and forget about it forever, because I won't be changing it out anytime soon! ... show more
