Our old thermostat was messing up so I ordered the Emerson thermostat. The price was good so I decided to purchase it. The instructions were pretty clear and easy for me to understand. It works perfectly and looks good. It keeps the temperature were I set it.

    • Nice easy to read thermostat with no frills crazy functionality
No frills easy to read thermostat. Very easy to install and appears to very accurate. I like the backlight display and is in big numbers so my old eyes can see it easily. I really don't do any programming but is nice if I want that option. For the price and quality you can't go wrong.

    • Perfect simple setback thermostat
Ok, this is just the best thermostat for some who wants an intuitive simple to use thermostat. No tough programming or downloading apps and needing passwords. I wanted a setback thermostat for my heat pump as I’m on time of use electric rates. I was nervous abt all the little wires as I’m color blind and can’t easily differentiate wire color. I took pictures before I removed the wires from old thermostat. Then I removed them one at a time installing them in the same lettered terminals on new thermostat. It maybe took 15 minutes. That was it, new thermostat is easy to read and program. Directions are clear and concise if you need them. This is an excellent product. Compliments to Emerson. The Emerson thermostat seems to work great. Paid my handy man $50.00 to hook it up and program it. Bought this during the winter and it worked awesome with the heat pump. Now the summer is comming and it kicks out the cold air with no problems Been 6 months now and still am using the same batteries when I first installed it. Must be energy efficient because electric bill has been consistent. No need fighting with the Wi-Fi. Just program it and forget it don’t need the c wire because it takes batteries.
