This LED desk lamp is awesome and helpful for college! I bought it for my college desk and it is always great! This LED lamp is so great because it has a lot of light, different light modes for different times, and the lamp turns on a swivel allowing for maximum light to be seen in all directions. This lamp is so great because it allows me to work with the lights off in my room while my roommate is sleeping without straining my eyes. The only thing I would say is that make sure to have a USB wall charger with you already because it does not come with one - only the USB cord. I needed a lamp for my work office because I was not getting lighting in an area that was hard to get lighting. This lamp plugs into a port connected to my laptop. It has 10 levels of illumination, adjusts to parallel position above your desk to 180 degrees to illuminate a larger area. The lamp also can be turned to face any direction. The base is about 5” X 8” so it fits in tight work spaces. It plugs directly into your laptop but if you don’t have a free port on your laptop it will plug into a port adapter . The lamp has an adjustment button that allows you to change the illumination to bright white to more subtle illumination. There are other features as well. I broke one flinging it off my table by accident, I’ve bought 2 more since. Once you have it a while, you can find the buttons (not buttons, but the pressy things) easily even in the dark. I think this is the best lamp I’ve ever bought. It kinda sucks at charging though, it flickers when I charge my iPhone, but I don’t really charge things on it, it’s just a great lamp. 10/10 ... show more

This lamp is what I needed. It’s lightweight and simple. I can fold it and the base doesn’t take up too much space. I have two, the other one is from another shop but the base was round and took up too much space. This one is simple and I can adjust the dim and color. Only thing is that I did not come with the wall charger just the usb part. But my power strip has the usb ports so it worked out. ... show more

I'm using this light on my desk, but it could be a bedside lamp as well. Its base and its arm have joints and the LED light it brilliant. I comes with a USB chord, so you'll need to provide the electric adaptor unless you are plugging directly into a USB port.

It fits the space very well but the directions for how to use the various modalities are in Chinese, so I couldn't figure out the part about how to turn the brightness up and down. I thought the lamp was way too dim (something was dim . . . ha ha ha . . . was me) I did find the English language directions to be amusing. FOLLOW-UP: I changed my 3 star "so-so" review to a 5 star review after I accidentally figured out how to get the brightness to go up and down.
