We live in AZ so this summer will be a good test of the adhesive velcro. The windows these are installed on usually get about 5 hours of direct sun during the early part of the day. Installation was easy, cutting the material was troublesome until I got some good scissors on it! They black out the light to the liking of the person that was requesting it! I do recommend this product, so far. Only weak link in my situation will probably be the adhesive on the velcro, but nothing the product maker can really do about that, thankfully there are extra tabs! ... show more

It’s a thin piece of cloth, but sticks really well and keeps the light out. Much better replacement than my older one which was thick and weighty and fell down a lot.

Calling them curtains is a bit pushing it. Well in my opinion. They are more like vinyl cloth. It does what it does and is a temporary fix for me. They cut easily and the Velcro works well. I got white to match my windows and the other side is silver. Not as silver as foil so people wont think I live in a crack house…I mean they won’t think I’m hiding anything. Jokes aside… get it if you want to block the light and want something that can easily be removed and put back. The wrinkles or creases can also be fixed with light ironing. ... show more

UPDATE: After leaving my unpleasant and not 100% fair review (I didn't notice how on the paper it comes with it tells you that if the material is wrinkles or has creases in it then you should iron it first), the company sent me an email offering me a full refund along with an apology. While I did take them up on their offer of a full refund, I also told them that I'd update my review of their product and told them how much I appreciated them getting in touch with me. They now have a 5* review based on their customer service alone, and I'll definitely give this company another chance. Thanks Tlany. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: This material, from the way that it comes landing, has a ton of creases in it. This makes it extremely difficult to cut to size really anything more difficult than a square shape and still have it fit the window snugly with no light penetrating. Can't say that I'm happy with it, and if I hadn't already used about half of it for two window panes (not the whole window - just two panes), I'd return it. I actually might look into it I still can return it. Not happy. ... show more

It works fine. Does block out the light entirely but it’s not like a curtain it’s just thin, light material you stick on with Velcro tabs. It’s fine if you are leaving it in place. Not sure how it would hold up if you wanted to put it on and off

I like to have my room dark when I sleep but it has become even more necessary since the guy behind me has the world's brightest porch light. I got this to not only keep the dark out but it is also reflective to keep the heat out which keeps the room cooler. Bonus! It is a little tricky to cut these if there are blinds in the way and on one window I was a little bit short so there's a sliver of light coming through the top but that actually works in my favor because it provides just the softest light to be able to see if I get up to go to the restroom. ... show more
