As a daughter, I care for my Mom alot about mobility has limited, so we need a chair that would accommodate her aging body. This chair is light enough for us to lift easily, fold easily, and has a hand break that makes it easy to operate even with arthritis hands. The reversible armrests make transfers even easier. It gives us the confidence. I have bought my Mom an electric wheelchair too but this one is so much easier for going on trips by airplanes. The size js compact and portable, lightweight design, sturdy, the seat is comfortable.

If you are looking for a lightweight wheelchair, look no further. I bought this for my aunt, becuase she has a traditional overwight wheelchair which is super heavy and takes a lot of space. Let me tell you my uncle appreciates the design, especially becuase they have a small car so its super easy to lift and carry around. The size is perfect for small card and easy to store since it folds and takes very little space.

I need a transport chair while on vacation since my husband has a broken foot. I tried several designs and this one was the best. The only issue I had was that the handle bars were made of hard plastic and a bit uncomfortable for my hand while pushing for longer periods. However I found a perfect product to slide over the handles. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B25NBYFQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1. They can be forced over the handle easily. I did cut out a small half moon shape on the one end to accommodate the lock mechanism. I really like that the chair comes with some padding (others were just a sling of fabric which was less comfortable). The handles are height adjustable which other varieties didn't have. I also liked how there were two distinct handles to push---many other models had a bar across the back of the chair to hold onto and my husbands back pressed on my fingers which was uncomfortable. This model also locks into place upon opening which was a nice feature. Easy pull up bar allows it to fold closed easily. It is not obvious from the instructions but the wheels will lock in place if you push down on the brake handles. It is less than 20 lbs and I can lift it easily. Rolls easily and appears very well made. One final tip-- the back pad is adjustable since the handles are adjustable in height. It is designed to fold over the back and velcro in place. Make sure you pull the fabric very taught when you position it. Initially I didn't do that and my husband said the back support wasn't great. Once we pulled it nice and tight he said it felt much better.

This wheelchair is super light. It's easy to roll when folded like your luggage with wheels and it stands on its own if needed for example, when you remove it from your trunk, you can set it next to you and it stands alone while you pull more items out or while closing the door. I highly recommend this wheelchair. Just a quick suggestion, remember to use a seat cushion as the surface isn't cushioned enough. I appreciate that the wheel brakes are o the handles so you don't have to hunch over to the wheels to set them nor use your foot/hand to try to lock them and getting pinched.
