Went looking for a tilt-a-chair locally. They started at $2500 US. This chair looks sturdy. Works easily. Lightweight. A bit (!) less expensive too! The only con is the "manual." It doesn't say much. But, if U've got a little testosterone (females do too...)-U don't need no stinkin' instructions! Good buy. We'll see how it stands up in the long run.

Only good thing about the chair, it is light weight and easy to fold, just breaks easy. Delivered on March 31, 2024 and after a few months use, the chair is broken in 2 places. First the brake handle broke, so had one sided brake. Then the bar attaching the back frame of chair broke into. Weight capacity is 300 lbs, my husband weight is 178.

Size: Self-propelled and transport free switching
Purchased in April. Did not see it in use until September. It has 2 Broken side shields, it is difficult to push and wheel, one side of wheel lock is bending. Not worth $500. Is there a warrantee on this wheelchair. It should have lasted longer than 5 months. I would recommend not purchasing medical equipment on line.

**update** returning it because after the third outing, the wheelchair nearly broke in two places after three outings** The wheelchair arrived mostly put together. A manuel would have been helpful. I had to attach the anti tip bars to the back. The screws to the arms were loose, but they supplied a few Allen wrenches and we tightened anything that was too loose. An 18 inch ergonomic seat cushion fits perfectly. My husband likes that he can tuck the legs up when he's loading it in the vehicle. The wheels are smaller than I'm used to and it takes more energy to push, but the tread on the tires helped with the ice storm we've been having. For reference, I'm 5'4" and weigh 200lbs. I've only left the house in it twice, the first time was to ride a local antique carousel, which is pictured. So far it's been nice to have. I had a dme from my doctor and the insurance company had refused because I'm partially ambulatory, but this was cheaper than the co-pay anyway and the medical supply company won't ask for it's return. My husband said it weighs 30lbs, but my last chair was almost 50lbs.
