    • Missing a game. Product seems rushed.
The cabinet is quite a bit bigger than I was expecting. That's on me though for not looking more closely at the dimensions. It doesn't fit in the display with the other cabinets I had purchased in the past though, so that's a bit disappointing. Just seems weird to me that this one cabinet is much bigger than the ones I had purchased previously from MyArcade in the same form factor. I knew it was a preorder, but I could have sworn at the time I ordered it there were 5 games included, including Sonic CD. My Box Art for the cabinet also indicates it should include a 5th game, but when I boot it up, Sonic CD is not on the menu. The store page seems to have been edited so that this game is no longer mentioned. Maybe it was only 4 games at the time I ordered it, as I cannot find the email confirmation with any details about how many games should be included, but it seems strange that the box promises 5. After briefly playing the 4 included games, I have noticed some odd behavior in the software. There are noticeable framerate dips in Sonic 1 and 2 when you get to moving at high speeds. I'm not a huge Sonic fan so maybe this is the way the original games played, but it doesn't seem much like Blast Processing to me. Also, in Sonic 3D Blast I encountered a screen that said something to tune of "Chaos Emerald Victory Screen Goes Here". Again, not sure what was or wasn't in the original, but that definitely seems suspicious. I remember waiting for this product to come out after it was announced at an electronics show, and the advertised release date got pushed back months with no indication on the website. It has taken much longer than expected to release, and the end product seems rushed. ... show more
