  • Powerful and light weight! I love it!
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
I used this yesterday and let me tell you how impressed I am with it! I have been missing out for all this time. This thing takes out nice sized weeds without any problems. My only two complaints are 1. I wish it could rotate and have a guide wheel for edging and 2. I wish the batteries lasted a little longer. They do not last anywhere near an hour. Maybe around 30 minutes is more like it. Other than those two things, this thing is great and I love it and I highly recommend it!! It’s not heavy and it’s balanced out well enough that you can use it all day if you want. At this great price and the speed of getting the job done, you can’t go wrong with this one! ... show more

  • Workhorse
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
This trimmer is a workhorse. It is light weight, but can cut through the toughest weeds and small saplings. The batteries last a long time. Never need to mess with feeding out more line. It does it on it's own.

  • Easy to use
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
Half the weight and twice the power of gas trimmer. No priming, no cord to pull, no string to wind, and the string advance actually works

  • Good Trimmer.
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
Only four stars because the cap for the string trimmer is prone to brakeage. The caps are very poorly made, very fragile. We know these from having problems from past Worx trimmers. Other than that, this is a very good trimmer. Its powerful and easy to handle. We ordered spare caps because we know the cap will brake. This is something that should be addressed. ... show more

  • Worx 40 volt two line trimmer
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
This is 40 volt trimmer using two 20 volt batteries in series. It has a 2string spool and is as powerful as most gas trimmers that I have used. The batteries are interchangeable with other Worx equipment.

  • Brand new and quit. But I know why! Blown capasitor ie bad component on the board. Brand new and quit. But I know why! Blown capasitor ie bad component on the board.
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
I had this exact weed eater for about 2 years and it performed above and beyond. It sure was my favorite tool to use. I have many Worx equipment. A battery lawn mower, a blower, weed eater, I am a woman in my 70’s and live on a farm. I love the battery equipment that provide real progress on maintenance. But when I ordered a new weedeater I didn’t have it for 30 days, only used it 3 times and it quit. I was stumped. It wasn’t the motor or anything I could troubleshoot so I opened it up and there was the obvious problem! The capasitor on the board in the handle had blown. See picture. You can see the weed eater is brand new. It’s still clean! Ha! But the fact that this weed eater is dead from a component failure is disturbing. No one wants to hassle with bad components being an issue. So now I’m out the money I spent and I don’t want to double down and have this happen again. But I really loved this weedeater. I don’t want to have to switch brands now with 10 batteries for all my tools. I’m not a complainer and components are very seldom cause for failure but this is unfortunate for me as I am not sure of chancing buying another one now. I really didn’t pay attention to what kind of warrantee it had but I’m sure they don’t like you opening up the case but you can see the capasitor is foaming out and blown. I’m figuring I’m just out the money. But at least I know why it quit after 3 uses. So buyer be warned. ... show more

  • Ok, so I bought a cheap battery powered weed eater, and so far impressed.
Style: 13" Trimmer w/(2) 2.0 Ah Batteries
So I just moved into a new rental house with a very small yard, and been borrowing my neighbors lawn mower, well I hate asking fo it, so i bought this thing thinking "I cant afford a lawn mower, maybe I can just use this thing to do the whole yard" and It worked... I trimmed, and scalped the entire yard with this thing, and it worked great... It's 135 dollars including batteries, so don't expect to start a lawn service with this thing, but it was easy to put together, I chopped an entire front yard down, after full charge... Heres one part that might be confusing, I thought it came with 2 batteries, so you could use it, then pop in another battery, but it takes both batteries to run... But I got a full yard out of 1 cycle... So far 135 dollars, it did EXACTLY what I wanted to do, and more. and I read some horrible reviews on home depot and lowes sites for trimmers in this price range, so I think I made the right decision. ... show more
