This machine is several machines in 1. It makes slurpies, milkshakes, frozen drinks, soft serve and I’ve made sorbet. The drinks ate so thick I was really impressed. The 1st slush was so thick I had to eat it with a spoon. The machine is extremely simple to operate and clean. After much research, it was rated 1 of the best, especially for the $. And a great value considering all the other machines available Most of the parts are clear so you know they are clean.

We bought this machine over the ninja slushy because i really loved the soft serve feature. Well. the first time using it, it started to sound like it was struggling when the ice cream was getting thicker (not even really thick it was still to watery to put in a cone) and then it stopped and shot an error code. which I had to completely dump the ice cream because it wont come out of the nozzle unless the motor is running. I tried multiple times and got the same error code so the motor is just not strong enough to do as it claims. It makes slushies fine but I was too worried about the motor giving out completely. So spend the extra 50$ and get the ninja slushy bc its a more trusted brand and u wont have to worry about the motor (the ninja can still make ice cream in a milkshake consistency which is still better than what this one did) it also made the ice cream taste really slimy which was weird it was almost as if it was waxy? even after i cleaned the machine multiples times. its just a a hard no.

My kid and I have been really happy with this slushie sofar. We been using it every weekend when we are swimming at the pool. Easy to use, the LED display is simple and the recipe books are helpful too. No setup required, just pull out of the box, plug in and use. I've been using it to make strawberry ice cream, slushies drink and frozen margaritas. The auto clean is pretty cool as it usually the part I dread with machines like this. Doesn't take a lot of space on my counter. For what it's worth, comparing to other big brand, it does the job just fine. No reason to spend more for same thing. Fun little machines for the summer.

This thing is awesome! I've been really enjoying it. It's perfect for iced coffee slushies like you might get from a gas station. I'll make coffee, let it cool (or use yesterdays leftover coffee), do about 1/2 milk or half and half and sugar (mix the milk and sugar before you put it in). Ice cream was a bit more tricky and it will require some experimentation, but it does work nicely. I found the included recipes are ok, but too much cream - I'll lower the cream a bit and use more milk. You can also add cocoa powder to the vanilla recipe to make chocolate - just mix the sugar and the cocoa powder first, then mix that together with 2-3 tbsp of warm milk, then mix everything together. You'll want to play around with the temperature for the ice cream. I wanted firmer, and turned it as cold as it would go (6C), but that makes to thick and it has difficulty turning, and you'll burn the motor out. Turning it down to 5C resulted in a much more consistent result. Very important for ice cream - it's got 2 markers on the side - 27oz and 33oz. These are the min and max for ice cream. You'll get better results with 33oz, but don't go more than that because it will end up going over the top. I haven't been able to get soft ice cream like you might put in a cone yet. I think I need to continue to tweak the recipe a little, but I think I'll get there. My first batch (using a commercial mix) was a flop (tasted like a soft fudgesicle), but once I started just using the recipe in the book (cream, milk, sugar) all my trial batches were very good. For thanksgiving I made a batch and added some maple syrup, and everyone loved it. Also, the ice cream freezes well but you need to make sure you put it in containers and freeze it ASAP - if it starts to melt then it will freeze with little ice particles. But this is nice because I can make a batch of ice cream even if I only want a little, and then easily freeze the rest. I was hesitant about cleaning it - it looked like it was going to be a pain. Nope. Not at all. Do one cleaning cycle of lukewarm water, and then the clear plastic part comes right off and can be washed in the sink. Very easy!

I have really enjoyed using this, especially for making coffee slushes. It feels high quality, looks great. It is surprisingly fast, even when starting with hot coffee. The main compartment comes off easily for cleaning.
