I tested this tool at home to see if it would make styling hair easier, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The first thing I noticed is that the device feels quite heavy in the hand, which makes it uncomfortable to use for longer styling sessions. When working with hair tools, balance and ease of handling are very important, and this one did not feel very ergonomic. Another issue is how the attachments work. Every time you want to move to a new section of hair or start a new strand, you have to open and adjust the attachment again. This makes the process slow and frustrating, especially if you are trying to style your hair quickly. Compared to other hair styling tools I have used, this one requires much more effort and time to get the same results. Pros • The concept is interesting Cons • Feels heavy in the hand • Attachments must be reopened frequently • Not very convenient for styling multiple sections of hair Overall, I cannot recommend this product. The idea behind it may be good, but the design makes it difficult and frustrating to use in practice.

This is a really good attachment to purchase for a Dyson styler. I wanted a straightener attachment and this is really nice! It’s easy to use and does a great job straightening my hair after lightly blow drying. Wish this came as a standard attachment ha-ha

I ordered this smoothing attachment for my daughter and wife to use with their Dyson Airwrap, and it fits the wand perfectly with no issues at all. It clicks on easily and feels secure, so setup is quick and simple. My wife watched a couple of videos before trying it, and it definitely took a few tries to get the hang of using it properly. She has very frizzy hair if she does not curl or flat iron it, and this attachment did help smooth things out, but it took more than one pass on each section to get the look she wanted. The heat level feels comparable to the other Airwrap attachments, warm enough to be effective without feeling overly harsh on the hair. For her hair type, she felt that some of the other Dyson attachments were a bit more effective at fully straightening and removing frizz. That said, this one still made a noticeable difference and might work even better with more practice and technique. It seems like one of those tools where results improve the more you use it. For the price, it feels like a decent value, especially as an extra option to have in your Airwrap collection. It is easy to use, easy to attach, and could be a great fit for someone looking for a gentler way to smooth and tame frizz without using a traditional flat iron.

This attachment is as described and fits my airwrap and heats well, but the quality and functionality could be better. I have the authentic brand version of this attachment and it works much better than this dupe. I guess this is one instance where the dyson technology is actually worth the higher cost. Overall, this attachment is usable, but the results are not as sleek as the authentic version.

This is a product. I didn’t even know I needed until I ordered it! The hair straightening feature on this attachment is so easy to use and extremely effective. I actually don’t use it as it is intended on wet hair, I have a natural part in my hair that never wants to lay correctly, so I use this attachment to smooth it out, and it works like a charm every time. The attachment works by sliding your hair through, which is then grabbed and held straight by the two plates while it heats up or dries. For my hair, this is exactly what I needed. I am always on the lookout for unique Dyson attachments and this one did not disappoint. This attachment fits well and hold snug and you cannot beat the price! Very highly recommend.
