I just received the unit and put it together. I haven’t used it yet because there’s no snow. I don’t know when I’ll be able to use it. I did test the unit and charge the batteries and they seem to work fine and the unit seems to work very well. It is put together well and seems like a value product.

I live in central NC and some years we may get a few good snowstorms and some years we don't get a single flake. So for someone like me a small, lightweight, electric snow blower like this is a perfect option I just hope I get a chance to fully test it and use it this year. I have a dozer blade/snow plow for my garden tractor for clearing larger areas, but it takes a lot of work and time to put on and off. So this small snow blower is going to be perfect for when I just need to quickly clear my driveway. It comes pretty much fully assembled, which Is great. The batteries were also mostly fully charged. So if needed, you could be using this thing within 5 minutes of getting it out of the box. Based on my initial inspection, it seems to be a very well built and easy to use machine. One of my favorite features of it is the way it folds up for portability and storage. It actually has a carry handle in the top middle, which is such a well thought out design feature. I weighed it by the handle and with the batteries included it only weighed 29.3 pounds. So in its folded configuration, the average person can easily carry it around by its handle. It also seems to have a good, powerful motor. I have only been able to run it dry so far, but I was happy to see that the motor didn't have that typical weak winding sound that some electric motors have. It spun fast and powerfully. So I have no doubt that it will be able to handle at least the typical amount of snow I have in my area in NC. Once I get to fully use and test it, if there are any catastrophic failures, I will definitely update this review. For now though, I am very happy with this snow blower. I look forward to getting to use it and at least so far, I would recommend it. I wasn't going to mention this because it's a little embarrassing, but maybe it will help others avoid my mistake. I don't know what I was thinking, but when I folded up my handles the first time I left the rod connected that controls the direction of the shoot. DON'T DO THAT! I ended up bending the rod and lightly cracking the connection point at the machine. I do want to make it clear that this was completely my fault and nothing to do with the quality of the snowblower. Luckily, it was minimal damage and I was able to straighten out the rod pretty easily. So in the end, everything came out fine and still functions perfectly. I included a couple pictures to show what little bit of damage it done. It's kind of funny now, but I felt so stupid and was pretty mad with myself when I first did it. So don't be like me and make sure to disconnect the rod at the machine end connection before folding the handle. ... show more

I bought this to replace my general shoveling and it does. So easy to put together with clear, concise instructions and directions for Help along the way. Battery instruction also clear and easy to follow. Snap in the batteries and away we go.

I can’t run a true test of this snow blower yet since we have no snow, but we will in a couple months and I feel ready for it with this unit. It came well packed with little assembly required. You only had to attach the handle, some plastic guides and the control for the chute. It took all of maybe ten minutes before everything was up and running. Operation is easy as well. Insert the two 24 volt batteries, hold the safety button on the side then pull back the handle and the lights come on and the auger revs up. I have a smaller cordless snow blower and a cordless snow shovel so I’m used to using this type of equipment. Take it slow and it will get through even heavy snow. This one features a rubber tipped metal auger which is a nice upgrade from plastic. I think between the power of two batteries and the ability to handle deeper snow, this one will be my new favorite. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed in any of the battery operated snow movers and where I live, we get SNOW. I have pushed their limits and they’ve handled it. I also like the fact that these snow blowers are quiet. You can be up at 4 AM getting a jump on the snowstorm without waking the whole house up or all the neighbors. The batteries charged quickly. They came about three-quarters charged and completed in no time. The batteries themselves and the charger all have indicators to let you know where you’re at in the process. The batteries are also capable of being charged by USB C which is something new to me. In case you can’t find the charger or it breaks, you have a backup method of charging. I can’t wait to try this rig out and see how long the batteries last and how well that metal auger will eat up that snow. ... show more
