My siblings and I all recently moved out of my childhood home and were worried about leaving my parents to handle all of the snow and ice alone. They aren’t old, but they are aging and I wanted them to have a reliable snowblower to easily clear snow when we couldn’t be there to help. I purchased this electric battery powered snowblower because I wanted something cordless and gasless that even my mom could use easily and just recharge when it died. Fast forward a couple months later, I’m house watching for my parents while they are on vacation and we just got a snowstorm—and I absolutely LOVE IT and totally recommend to anyone who is on the fence. I live in the northeast and we just recently got about 1.5 feet of snow, and this thing was awesome. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: this thing is small and easy to push, and still easily clears all types of snow (icy, heavy, powdery, etc.) this snowblower is also EXTREMELY easy to start. You don’t need to pull a cord like a gas snowblower, all you have to do is push a button and hold down on the handle. This thing comfortably clears about 8-9 inches of snow. CONS: While this snowblower is capable of clearing up to 10 inches of snow, the heavier and deeper the snow, the shorter the battery lasts. Because of this, I would buy several battery packs just in case it dies on you in the middle of a snow storm, and I would also recommend snowblowing before the snow gets past 6 inches. I have a long driveway and was able to clear the entire driveway with 8 inches, but the snowblower died before I could do the backyard for the dogs and the sidewalks. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a cheap and super easy snowblower, this is great value for your money. This can clear up to a foot of snow and so freaking easy you can’t beat it. It’s also extremely powerful and throws the snow super far when snowblowing. As long as you order a few extra batteries with this snowblower, you will be more than fine and your life will get that much easier! So happy I got this for my parents. Easy to assemble, light weight for ease of use. Has worked well so far with up to 6 inches of snow. Battery life is good depending on the size and how quickly you can clear your areas. I recommend having a backup set of batteries but I do that for all my battery operated tools. I would recommend this unit for value and efficiency. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve only had it a few days I live in Wisconsin and we get snow pretty often I have just a small trailer court driveway and a walkway around the house to take my cat for his walks. This thing works great! For $300 it is perfect . I don’t ever wish for snow but I’m hoping for a 4 in snow fall to test it out better today I snow blowed some drifts in my driveway and it went right thru them. Blows the snow far. The steel auger seems to be pretty good quality and durable It’s quiet and so light weight! Starting it is simple press the button and hold down the trigger . I can easily Carry it in and out of the house with one hand. Weighs maybe 30 pounds. The battery’s charge within an hour or so Assembly was self explanatory and easy just get a pliers for the pins cuz they are difficult. I do plan to get a spare set of batteries for heavier snow falls based on other reviews ... show more

I had my doubts about buying this since i live in Northeast Ohio and we get a lot of snow. I have used this three times now and each time I am happier about this purchase. I have a driveway that is three car lengths and 20 minutes of snow blowing and 7 inches of snow is cleared. The battery died as i finished the apron which was more like 12 inches due to plowing, but my entire driveway and sidewalk is clear now. No more sore back, no more frozen fingers and toes. This is the best Christmas gift i ever gave myself. Noise is very reasonable. Very easy to use. Well worth the money. How long it will last, that is yet to be seen, but the fact that it has done the job 3 days in a row with a minimum of 6 inches of snow each time is good for me! Likely will buy another set of batteries just in case! The light on the front is so helpful. ... show more

First of all, it arrived 1-2 days earlier than expected which is nice. Assembly was easy using the enclosed instructions which were simple and good. The hitch pins were challenging for my aging fingers to open, pliers were helpful. I was able to use it 2 days after it arrived to clear 2.5" of medium-dry snow, including the plow berm on the driveway apron. The unit is light, easy to handle and a breeze to use. It started to lose power after 15 minutes which caused it to not throw the snow as far. But overall it worked great and I'm very pleased. I gave it 5 stars because for the price, this unit is exactly what I was looking for and I've encountered no problems so far (3 days, one use). But people should be aware that this is not the device of choice for a large property or very deep, heavy snow unless additional batteries are available. I plan to buy a second set. ... show more

Battery life sucks. Starts easy. Maneuvers easy. Durable. Decent quality. Size is perfect. I have an average driveway and I can’t even finish doing that and my walkway without the batteries dying. Get an extra set. You get what you pay for. It does the job, just have to wait between charges. Easily clogs out the chute so keep an eye on that. Use the tool it comes with and you can clear it right out. Other than the battery life, I like it. Easy to setup. Batteries slide in on each side. Easy to put on charger. ... show more
