Nice looking basic light fixture. I bought these to replace expensive LED fixtures with built in power supplies. Two out of four failed and can't be fixed. Don't buy those! I installed dusk-to-dawn bulbs in these and they work great for less than half the LED units, and you can actually change the bulbs in these, like at Halloween or Christmas when I like to put colored lights up. My only gripe is that these are NOT oil rubbed bronze, even though that's what the box says. They are just straight black with no texturing. And they are smaller than I expected. With the new siding going up I wanted new lanterns to grace the sides of the garage and the doors. I was looking for something made of heavy unbendable metal. The last lantern purchased from a big box store was bendable and the finish corroded after a few years. I wanted an open bottom so that I didn't have dead bugs to clean out. I was dismayed in my search because I didn't recognize many of the brands featured on Amazon. Note well: Before you order these lanterns be sure to note the measurement of the back plate of this lantern that is provided by the manufacturer. The back plate of this lantern is larger than the standard, color matched lighting mounts that are offered in CertainTeed vinyl siding. In order to get a larger lighting mount for our siding - the contractor had to either special order the larger plate or we had to go with white. This didn't matter so much to me because we selected natural clay and the trim is white on the capping for the door frames. I selected this based on the quality which was evident in the photos and the recognizable brand, and the unique globe: 1. This lantern is heavy and the metal is so thick and strong you cannot hand bend the hanging portion.unlike the cheaper thinner metals from discount. 2. The matte bronze like finish on the metal is flawless - it is exactly as depicted on the photo. This finish clearly will not corrode in the elements. The seams on the bolts are well screwed in and they match the finish. The welds are solid with a clean finish on the faceplate. 3. The simple ornamentation and seeded glass is absolutely beautiful and coordinates well with my Dutch colonial home. ... show more

Bought 3 for our new patio columns. Cannot beat this price, 1/2 if not 1/3 of the price of similar from big box stores. Looks gorgeous and high quality. Love the little bubbles in the glass. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for high end looking outdoor lights without the price tag.

I bought three of these lights. Each light was missing some parts. Packaging was not good. All boxes were opened and parts were fallen out. All in all managed to fix them all. However I'll give four stars for finished of the product. E26 holder worked well with E27 light bulb. No issues.

I am officially delighted with my purchase of this outdoor light. It's metal, heavier than I expected, feels study and of good quality. It looks way better in person than the picture...and the pictures looks nice. My boyfriend hung it for me in about 15 minutes after getting out of box; it's pretty and works great, no problems. I particularly liked that it takes up to 100 watt bulb, whereas most 'affordable' fixtures seem to support 60 watt, and another big plus is that the bottom is open so you don't have to disassemble anything to simply change the bulb. I received a three of these lights for the exterior of my home. The instructions were very easy to follow. If you are unfamiliar with electrical work, you may not already understand that sometimes you need to cut the screws down for the product to fit perfectly. For my home, two of the long screws need to be trimmed just a bit for this to work perfectly. If you didn’t read the instructions carefully, you would miss that this product does not come with a lightbulb. Be sure to buy the Edison style light bulb for this light fixture. Other lightbulbs will work just fine. However, if you want it to look just like the original picture, be sure to purchase the Edison style light bulb. ... show more

Lamps are great but one of the two arrived without a screw that keeps the glass cover on. I already mounted it, wired and caulked it, so I'm not up for pulling it all out to send it back, but worth noting that you should completely check the lamp before wiring it up.
