I have this light fixture installed and I like it very much. Simple design compliments simplistic decor of my living room very well. The first product I received had to be returned due to the fact that vertical rod was welded crocked causing the lamps to not level out. Of course, being Amazon, return and replacement was easy and fast. Then, I discovered, first product (original) and the second product (replacement) were not identical. While first one had glass pieces in white without any tint, second one had an obvious green tint. They were also a bit longer. The second one had a threaded rod inside the vertical piece where as first one did not. It doesn't affect functionality but it has (obviously) gone through a design change. Boxing and packing were also different. Installation is very easy and straight forward. 3 wires (including ground) connection and I was done. The actual hanging requires one to open up two of the rings of the chain. As they are made of thick wires, I needed a big wrench and a vice. Overall, it was a very good purchase. I'm so glad I found this light fixture. I had spent days searching online for a light fixture that was somewhere between modern and traditional. I also couldn't get anything too girly since it was going in our shared living space. This lighting fixture is perfect for our needs and holy geez, with five lights it REALLY brightens up our living room space! It is dimmable, but we decided to hook it up to just an on/off switch. We ordered four of these. All four arrived intact with no damage. They were easy to install, even though we needed to replace the chain and cord with something longer. They are just as pictured, with one small thing to note: I didn't know what "seeded" glass meant, and I didn't notice from the picture that there are very small circles/ovals in the glass pattern. This isn't a big deal since it's not noticeable, but I would've liked them better with a solid, smooth look. ... show more

I had a lot of difficulty finding a dining room light with inverted shades, so that the light would not shine down harshly. The seeded, frosted glass fills the room with bright yet soft light. The bulb is pleasantly diffused and the brushed finish pops. I have this installed on a sloped ceiling, and it works great. The chain and height is widely adjustable. We really like the overall look and it's easy enough to install, but it hangs crooked. It didn't matter how we adjusted it, the arms were slightly lopsided. The copper ground wire through the black metal chain looks cheap.
