I was very skeptical upon purchasing a protein cinnamon bun. While it is not going to be as good as anything, you are going to get from a donut shop or that boutique cinnamon roll store in the mall, this is not bad and will take care of the sweet tooth. The flavor, despite being slightly chalky is of cinnamon and icing and it smells like a cinnamon roll. If you have a sweet tooth in our low-carb, or are tired of protein powder 24/7, this is an option for you. Slightly pricey, not large, but less than you would pay for a lot of other things.

Better than I thought it would be. Best if used warmed. Could use a bit more cinnamon. It will make the chocolate pop as well as the dough, less bland, it does taste buttery. A bit more chocolate frosting would be great. But overall for something that gives you the opportunity for a treat without baking it yourself as you're allergic to the wheat America uses now. Unlike most gluten free products, this one didn't cause bowel problems. I'm ordering it again though it is a bit pricey. 😋 yummy

Legendary Foods was put on my radar after discovering their pop tart style protein treats at my local supermarket. Being a huge fan of the protein pop tarts, I had to try more options from legendary. And let me tell you, these did not disappoint. In the past we could only reach similar macros in a protein bar through inedible chewy hunks of cardboard (I’m looking at you Quest bar). There has been a lot of innovation in the world of protein snacks, but these take the cake (literally!). I had to limit myself to 1 a day because these were so easy to eat. Great way for those on strict diets or fitness journeys to still enjoy a sweet treat. These can be enjoyed both cold out of the bag (my go to) or popped in the microwave for a warm pastry consistency. Artificial sweeteners are usually the name of the game in the protein snack world and sometimes this can make them hard to palate. With that being said, this is not the case for any of the Legendary Food products Ive had the option to try. All in all, these make for a protein treat that ranks high on my list. I had high hopes for this protein sweet roll, but unfortunately, it missed the mark completely. The texture was dense and dry, like chewing on a stale sponge. The flavor was artificial with an overpowering aftertaste. I expected something at least mildly indulgent, but this tasted more like a failed science experiment than a treat. Nutritionally, the macros are okay, but is it worth losing my appetite completely? The calories are high, the sugar alcohols wreaked havoc on my stomach, and I was left more dissatisfied than before I ate it. Definitely not buying again. I’d rather eat cardboard with protein powder on top.

These are so good and filling! Sometimes I add nuts to the top for a crunch or I will heat it up for a few seconds. As long as the seller puts them in an actual box, they will arrive fine. One time, they sent the product in its original packaging and it arrived with two buns missing lol. I got a refund though so I’m not too mad. Definitely worth buying if you need to stick to protein and keto goals.

These come packaged separately which is great for lunches. They are hard when you first open them - which is good because they do not get smashed during Shipping. So just put one on a plate and microwave for about 22 seconds and tada!! You now have a warm soft cinnamon roll. They smell like a cinnamon roll. I have a delicate stomach and these do not cause any sort of stomach problems at all for me. 9 net carbs and a ton of protein. Just microwave them and you will see.
