Bought these to light up a hallway that has no plugs for any kind of night lights. Use them mostly at night for the kids. Stay on for a little over 4 hours and turn themselves off about the time my kids go to bed. Light can either be bright or dim depending on how much light you need for your purpose. Loved them so much I bought a second set in Bronze for above my small bar area I made in my dining room... Bar is also an AMAZON purchase that I highly recommend as well! Runs on AA batteries and they last at least 2- 3 weeks before needing changed! They are lightweight, easy to install and take down to change the batteries. Comes with a template so you don't have to GUESS on where to put the screws when hanging them. Snug to the wall as well! ... show more

I love the look of these sconces but they use a lot of battery power. They don't quite last as long as the description says. We use rechargeable batteries so we don't have to keep buying new ones. I highly suggest that you invest in some so you're not wasting money on batteries also. It's totally worth it. Other than the battery life aspect, I like these. It was a good alternative to hardwiring sconces into our wall, which we really wanted to avoid! ... show more

All plastic. This is about $2 of plastic junk. Not even going to put them up. Can see if someone is in the position of needing this type of fixture for certain places, without electricity in the home but absolutely floored that buyers think they are "getting value for their $". These look like something I could find at the dollar store. Advice: put those $'s towards a better light and pay a little more. ... show more

Great little battery-powered sconces and just what we were looking for. Our den needed something extra on this wall and some added low light. We chose to use the 3M Command picture frame hanging straps instead of the screws that came in the set. Some measuring and a level helped us get them straight. They are plastic, but made very well - you'd never know they were plastic from looking at them. Two brightness levels are managed with button on the black 'base.' I bought these battery operated lamps for a board and batten wall I created as a headboard in myaster bedroom. I needed battery operated so I did not have to have a plug running down the wall or to hire an electrician. They are perfect and awesome! They look better than I expected. The base of the wallount is plastic, but very well made. The amount of light is amazing for the small profile led lights within the lamp. The neck of the lamp is made of metal and it has a durable smoothplastic globe, that does not make it look cheap. I only wish you could remove the globe and change it, but the way the led lights are made with in the globe, makes sense that you cannot remove it. I love the way the wall headboard turned out and the light just take it up a notch. You can have strong light or dim with a touch of the button on the bottom of the base of the light. They were super easy to install. There was a wall sheet to use that showed exactly where to put the screws whether you are having the lights point down or up. I attached the screws into a wood beam. If screwing the lamp into drywall I would use better anchors than the simple ones that come in the pkg. Or try to screw them into a stud behind your drywall for better support. I would definitely purchase these again. They are great lamps at a great price. They take 3 AA batteries each. You can easily remove the lamp to add new batteries the way they designed the back of the base of the lamp. They do not need bulbs, lead bulbs are part of the construction of the lamp! I really like these lights. The hallway in our house has never had any light and I finally decided to get one. I chose these as they were battery operated and decorative. My wiring skills are about as good as my decorating skills if you can’t tell. It took 2 minutes to put batteries in these and slap Command Strips on the back. Lighting done! I have pics of the lights off, the first setting which is the brightest and the last setting which a little dimmer. Highly recommend ... show more
