  • Excellent!
Style: Lathe Chuck
Fantastic little chuck! These Wen chucks are made really, really well- can't beat them for the price!

  • Really nice - especially for the price.
Style: Lathe Chuck
Very nice little chuck; I bought it for small projects and it works great - much less expensive than so many other chucks. It has a closed back and has indexing as well. Thumbs Up.

  • Surprisingly good
Style: Lathe Chuck
I'm comparing this little chuck to my Nova G3 which obviously isn't fair, or is it? Besides some rough machining here and there the overall build and design is on par with my Nova. It's apparent however it's not a $200+ chuck, but hey for the price range I've seen several lower budget chucks and this one is far superior. Needed a smaller chuck for a specific purpose as I was tired of switching jaw sets. This little tool fits the bill and functions perfectly as intended. Do wish they included pin jaws which have to be purchased separately but certainly not a deal breaker at the price point. ... show more

  • Solid piece
Style: Lathe Chuck
Solid little chuck, works well. Does have some issues with the gripping teeth dropping out when fully opened, however, they are easy to re mount and the grip is great!

  • Terrible fit for the LA4275 chuck
Style: Lathe Chuck
Jaws fit on chuck just fine and solid strong. But the chuck doesn't open far enough to put in a normal size pen blank. As shown in attached pics. To use these jaws for drill pen blanks, they better be smaller than the average 3/4 x 3/4 blank.

  • Good chuck
Style: Lathe Chuck
Nice Chuck, only reason no 5 stars is its a little steep in price for a small Chuck
