The wedge mechanism is a little sloppy. While unscrewing the tool post to accept the tool holder, the wedge separates from the worm drive, making it impossible to mount the holder. I learned to guide the wedge so that it sticks to the tool holder surface so that I can mount the holder to the post. I also have to file the burrs and sharp corners. But, they are well made and solid. You cannot go wrong with the set unless little things bother you. In that case, you have to spend a good $500 for a production tool holder set. ... show more

This OXA tool post is the PERFECT fit for a H.F/Cent Mach 7" lathe. The tool holders fit EXACTLY as supposed to, and are adjustable. either hold-down bolt works as well, and the handled lock is nice! Every tool holder had to be filed down a little bit to be able to fit the tool post holder. Besides that little bit of work filing it works great on my mini lathe.
