Bought this grinder because I was rebuilding an engine and needed a bench grinder that I could put a wire wheel on for removing carbon deposits from engine parts. Was purchasing several other tools and supplies for the rebuild at the time so tried to get a budget grinder that still had nice features. This one performed better than expected, very pleased. It was a little tricky removing one of the grinding wheels to install a wire wheel, but then again I am a manly man and did not use the instructions because those are for girls. Probably would have been much easier and much more straight forward if I had used the instructions!

good unit and good the support. The only problem I had was replacing one of the grinding whee with a wire wheel. You have to add a spacer in order for it to work. This is misleading when you order the wire wheel with the bench grinder.

It was recommended with the grinder but did not fit. Had to shim it out considerably to make it work. Tried on two other grinders and didnt fit any of them. Maybe consider spaces included or just design it so it fits more generically.

Nice basic machine for the money. Put it in my garage for wire wheeling auto parts on occasion (I’m a home mechanic/tinkerer/DIYer) - not very powerful and it’s easy to stop if you press to hard but works cleaning up small parts and sharpening my lawn mower blades so just what I need and the prices was right.

I RATED THIS A 1 STAR, ONLY BECAUSE THIS GRINDER IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH, PLUS THE FACT THE WIRE WHEEL THAT CAME WITH THE GRINDER PURCHASE IS NOT THE ONE WHICH FITS ON THIS GRINDER? IT DOES LOOK GOOD, WITH THE SAFETY FEATURES AND WORKING LIGHT OTHER THAN THAT IN THE FUTURE OPT FOR ONE FOR A MORE POWERFUL MOTOR.

This grinder has very little power and bogs way down to a stop if you hold anything on it long enough to actually grind it.

Overall is good, but the light is very flimsy and will not stay in place easily. Adding a wire wheel in place of a stone wheel requires adding shims, but not a big deal.

The WEN 4276 6" Bench Grinder is a nice size and works well enough. It vibrates A LOT. My 20 year old Craftsman 5" grinder runs MUCH smoother.
