I was very surprised at how comfy this chair is! It’s amazing. I let the cushion rise as and fluffed as recommended and the assembly was super simple. However in the directions it said to cover the screw ends with provided screw covers. There wasn’t any screw covers in the kit or in the picture of the supplies in the guide. Would have been nice if they did come part of the kit.

Wow, this chair is so comfortable, my son who is 6’4 actually fits in it! Super soft and love the ottoman to put my feet up! Took me some time to put it together (45 minutes in total) but very durable and study! I got the Navy Blue!

LOVE the chair!! It’s super cute, looks exactly like the photos advertised, and is SO comfortable. I only removed one star due to damages to the metal frame. The damages were only cosmetic, and are fairly unnoticeable, but still a bummer as they’re pretty deep scuffs/scrapes. The instructions included are probably the worst instructions I’ve ever used lolll- but it’s a simple assembly and easy to figure out on your own. The chair looks so good, and is so comfortable that I hardly care about the flaws!

Complete joke. Non sensical instructions, screws too long, washers don’t fit screws. Now I’m supposed to fit this monstrosity back in box and carry to an Amazon drop off? This is robbery.

I want to preface this review by saying that, once built, this lounger is actually quite comfy and feels like a hug from beneath your back and bum. BUT the amount of effort to actually build it- between the poorly described/unclear instructions to the unhelpful images to the god awful screws they chose to use- you're going to need a lot of patience and resourcefulness. I built it all alone and it took me about a good 3 hours; 1 to figure out where everything went and how it all would come together, and the other 2 to tighten all the dang screws. When I say these screws were made in hell, it could very well be a form of torture. I literally had to use both hands and feet to keep the pieces in place, hold one end of the screw still with one wrench, and the other to tighten the opposite end of the screw. I looked like i was wrestling this damn thing. The best part of the whole thing was really the pre-built folding stool coz I might have lost it if I had to screw in one more of those screws from hell. FYI, the u-shaped back support piece has this yellow cover (photographed) which really threw me off because it was hard to take off and I wondered if it wasn't meant to be removed because there's no mention of it in the instructions but you do actually need to pry it off somehow some way to get the butt piece into that piece. I used some pliers and hella elbow grease.

I ordered this in black for the lounge area in the basement. This went together fairly easily: the instructions are iffy but I've become a pro at 'puzzle furniture' lately. This is sturdy enough (not cheaply made but not overly heavy), and just the thing for a smaller space, as we needed a little more seating aside from the mandatory futon and the bar stools. I love that it includes the ottoman, and this is what sold me actually. The fabric is fun too - a fluffy, velvet corduroy. This is MY chair when we hang out in the basement now :)
